This was pretty good, but I think it could use some improvement. It had good flavor, but something was lacking. I doubled the sauce, based on some of the reviews, and I think I would have liked it better if there was less sauce, and it had boiled down a little. I also used boneless skinless breasts instead of thighs, so maybe that changed it as well.

My husband and I love this meal. Though I replace the soy sauce with Teriyaki sauce as it is less salty, and use 1 1/2 cups of orange juice to get more sauce at the end. Chicken breasts are also really good with this recipe.

Awesome recipe. Fast, easy & delicous. I added 1/2 tsp fresh garlic & 1/4 tsp fresh ginger. Yum.

This was okay. It was way too salty even though I cut back on the onion soup mix like others recommended. My husband wasn't a fan so I probably won't be making this again.

Made this and it is a real keeper! I used orange juice concentrate, about 2 Tablespoons, added to the orange juice to give it a bit more of an "orange kick" after reading the reviews before me. This worked nicely, and still it didn't have an overwhelming orange blast, just enough to make it nice. I placed my thighs (used 5) into an 11x7 pyrex dish, because that's what I had available. It made a nice amount of drippings. One point: cover with foil for the first bit of cooking, as the little onion bits kind of burnt on top of the thighs as it cooked down. All in all, this is a lovely recipe and I will be doing it more often! --Cakelady

Kinda disappointing after reading the reviews. Didn't have as much flavor is I expected. Still easy and quick to make though...

I made this recipe as is and it didn't quite excite my taste buds enough. I felt it was rather disappointing. Orange chicken to me should have a nice orange flavor to it and this recipe had none. Perhaps I could change the recipe more to my liking if I ever make it again.

Good flavor in the sauce, though a bit too thin for me. I served it over steamed rice and the hubby enjoyed it. Next time will try adding a few sliced oeanges at the end.

I haven't had orange chicken before and it sounded very tasty and simple to make so I followed the recipe and was very disappointed it tasted like my roast beef(in use onion soup mix w/making a roast) so I would change somethings 1. 1-2T onion soup mix.2. 1-2t ginger. 3. orange yest.this recipes should taste like orange chicken not roast beef

I think this was just OK. nothing fantastic about the taste. I added ground ginger, garlic & orange zest. I had a nice dinner but would probably not do this one again.

This was an easy and tasty recipe. I have made it using either the teriaki sauce or A1 came out great both ways.

I thought the flavor was really good, but because of all the reviews I doubled the organge juice and soy sauce, so my sauce was not thick at all, I think I would of liked it thick better, I did use boneless chicken breast and baked for 45 min it was very juicey, and tender, I will try this recipe again.

This recipe sounded really good, but it was not good at all. I let it marinate over night and it was still pretty tasteless. You could barely taste the orange flavor and the onion was over powering.

This recipe is so quick and easy and has wonderful flavor and is very, very, moist. However, I did not bake in the oven I used my crock pot. Put chicken in the bottom and seasoned, then poured liquid over the chicken. Came home from work later that afternoon and the house smelled wonderful. Had with rice pilaf and green beans. Will make again!
