"This family recipe has been with us for so long that we're not sure where it came from, but it is loved by all! A wonderful soft, buttery sweet cookie that melts in your mouth with the crunch of crushed pineapple and the softness of a cake. Absolutely WONDERFUL just out of the oven! You will want to make lots!"

Of course I love this! Its the best cookie if you love cake-type cookies, lemon, and pineapple! Yum
These don't have enough pineapple in them for my taste. I found them to be pretty bland.
Pineapple should not be drained. Doesn't have much pineapple taste. Husband didn't like them. I doubled the batch in the first place and after his complaint, I added a whole can of crushed undrained pineapple and a cup more of flour. Perfect.
