Everyone that I've made this for loves it. I use a chocolate cake from scratch and it makes it even better.

I really enjoyed how easy it was, but the whipped topping was extremely complimentary to the moistness of the cake. It was fun to make and everyone that took a bite LOVED it!

I have made this several times with the following changes...once the cake comes out of the oven, poke holes with the end of a wooden spoon, then pour the milk (almost the entire can) and caramel (almost the entire jar), let cool then put into the fridge. Spread the whipped topping and then sprinkle the toffee candy on top. I can usually find pre crushed Heath bars at my local Walmart Supercenter. That way all of th ecandy pieces are the same size.

DELICIOUS!!! Use all of the condensed milk and carmel sauce, and buy the fun size Heath Bars to have more. I crushed about 1/3 of the bag and topped the cake and then would add fresh crushed Heath to each piece just before serving (after a day or so the pieces sitting in the topping start to soften).

excellent. the only thing I changed was instead of cool whip, which I thought would be too sweet, I whipped up some cream- unsweetened and it worked very well with the rest of the cake being so sweet.

For my birthday, my boyfriend asked my roommates what my favorite cake was so he could make it for me, and they told him, "Better than Sex Cake." I was so embarassed! Now we've been married for over a year, and it's still my favorite cake, and he still makes it for my birthday every year. You simply have to try it!!!

This cake is easy and FABULOUS! I usually buy a bag of Heath Toffee chips (you can find them by the chocolate chips) instead of chopping bars. This is probably the most requested dessert recipe at my family gatherings! I like to call it the "Better than my EX cake!" hehehe

super easy and super good. the more sauce you pour into the cake the better, so I use a whole can of condensed milk and a whole bottle of caramel topping.

I made this for my brother to take to his bachelor party. Unimpressed. I used a moist cake mix which was good, but the whole thing really didn't WOW me. This cake is far from being as good as sex. I can think of a whole lot of other deserts that would be closer to its name sake. Sorry, not going to make this again.

I love this cake. I got worried as I was pouring the milk mixture onto the cake because I thought it was going to be soggy. I then let it cool, and refrigerated for 3 hours. I put the cool whip on right before serving. The texture of the cake is wonderful. Very moist, gooey, and rich. But the cool whip "frosting" lightens it up a bit. Great easy cake. And my 6 year old loved helping! A good recipe to get the kids to help with. This will be my "go to" cake recipe from now on when we want cake! And it probably would be great with a homemade cake, but really, I like the ease of boxed and it came out just great. 5 stars!

Just a tip to change the base cake a little...I added Instant Chocolate pudding mix and sour cream to the cake batter and it makes the cake richer and creamier (reduce the water a bit).

This turned out great! Poked holes with a spoon instead of slitting the cake. Also bought a bag of the crushed Heath pieces instead of whole bars, it's cheaper and you get a lot more.
