Here is a recipe for some very good cookies. These cookies were once described as 'better than sex' by a platonic female friend.

I make these cookies in place of Fruitcakes. They go much faster. These cookies will keep indefinitely in the refrigerator, or store in a closed tin after baking. They are better after several days. Best if made a week or two before Christmas, and hope some are left for Christmas

This recipe was given to me by my mother. It makes a BIG batch. They taste better and better if left a couple weeks before eating.

Fruitcake Cookies II

This is one of the recipes that my mom gave that I am putting in our family cookbook. For a slightly more tender cookie use buttermilk in place of the milk.

These are great for gifts, wrap rolls in cellophane and tie with ribbon! Also a hit at cookie exchanges! They are very colorful and festive-looking!

These cookies literally melt in your mouth. They are white, but can be tinted with food coloring in pastel colors if desired. They are irresistible.

An easy cookie to make, with the distinctive flavor of black walnuts. It is especially good with a nice cup of tea, or coffee.
