Better Peanut Butter Sandwich

SUBMITTED BY: RAYNBOE      PHOTO BY: GodivaGirl

"This is a great version of your basic peanut butter sandwich! Applesauce is used in place of jelly. Kids love it, and it has less sugar than regular jelly so it is much better for you."

Try using apple butter - less runny - tastes great :-)

This was an average sandwich. The applesauce was runny so I didn't use too much. I also sprinkled with cinnamon to add the the flavor.

This tasted good, but I probably would not make it again. Applesauce is a little too watery to be spread on bread, and it overpowered the peanut butter.
