Fantastic recipe. This tuna melt was just what I was looking for. I used sourdough instead of rye and it was still perfect. I followed the recipe other than the bread.

Good basic tuna melt. Next time I will add a little more salt and about 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper.

The Tuna Melt turned out great. My Hubby liked it a lot! But I did add a twist to the ingredients. I added a bit of Dijon Mustard. :)

Very good! My daughter & boyfriend - although they "like" tuna - they really enjoyed this! I did add 2pc of crisped bacon per slice (under the first pc of cheese) - and layered the rest per instructions. I will make this again!

Great! I used homemade italian bread rather than the rye, and shredded mozerella cheese, only because I already had these in the house. Good recipe and nice and easy!

This was awesome! I used lite mayo and added a bit more vinegar (to my taste). I also used cheddar since that's what I had on hand. Excellent!

I'm not a huge fan of tuna, but this was VERY yummy and my toddler loved it too! I made it last minute and didn't have celery, so I used celery seed instead, just a dab of mayo, wheat bread and sharp cheddar cheese. Tasty! I'm glad I omitted the salt, because I think the saltier cheddar made up for it and it was just right.

Good, but I've had better tuna salad. This could use a little more spice/flavor.

I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this was!! I seriously could've eaten two sandwiches... and they were huge. It was even good the next day after I popped it under the broiler for a few minutes. AWESOME!!

This recipe is amazing! Even kids like it. My son had 5 friends over and being teenagers of course their hungry! So in a pinch, I used this recipe. Those boys STILL talk about that tuna melt! Enjoy!

I am giving this 4 stars only because I made changes per family preferance. I used sourdough bread and added dill to the tuna and we loved it. Nice and easy and didn't heat the kitchen up to much.

Instead of Celery I used 1 teaspoon of celery salt! And I don't have a broiler so I put it in the oven on 350* for 10 minutes. Open faced. LOVED it!

We don't care for raw onion, so I left that out. I thought the tuna could have been a little more flavorful. 72M, 62F, and 31M thought they were "real good," 28F & 13F thought they were OK+, 10F didn't like at all. Overall, pretty good and fast!

These came together really quickly, but weren't anything special to us. I didn't think the flavors came together, very heavy tuna taste, and mine were salty for some reason. If I were to make again, I would omit the pinch of salt, but I probably won't make again as my toddler wouldn't even touch it. He normally devours all things tuna. Thanks for the new experience though.
