Superbly easy and delicious recipe! A few changes: I filled the two cans of cream of mushroom with milk and added them in for fear the casserole would turn out dry. I cooked the onions, as suggested, before adding it in to the casserole mix but with garlic to give it more flavor. I substituted potato chips with ritz crackers. I added frozen cut carrots along with the peas. What a keeper!!

This was very good, but I did add about a half cup of sour cream and a little milk so it wouldn't be dry. Also, I added some garlic-pepper seasoning and a little cayenne pepper. I didn't have any potato chips, so I just used some plain dry bread crumbs. I think it would've been even better with the potato chips though.

I also have used small pasta such as elbows and shells for this recipe and yes I aways add a bit of milk and grate the onion instead of chopping it since the onion will not cook properly. I also prefer it without the canned mushrooms and add extra peas and use french fried onions on top. Basic and Good recipe for a quick meal.

Crazy good, I knew only 3 or 4 people would eat it in the family (darn picky eaters), but I didn't have any leftovers. I didn't add any extra liquids, followed it to the recipe and it was just right.

Casserole was a success even with the kids. The only thing I would do differently is sautee the onions first bc they were too hard.

This was good, but I didn't like the onions or that it was dry. The onions didn't get done in the time it cooked. I did add 1 cup milk and about 3/4 cup sour cream, but it was not enough. The taste was good and it made plenty.

I loved this recipe! I was craving classic tuna casserole, and this hit the mark. Taking heed of other reviewers' comments about dryness, I added a half-cup of sour cream. I didn't have any mushrooms on hand, so I left them out but added about 1/3 cup more peas. Delish!

Yep. This the way mom made it and I love it. The ingredients should be staples in the pantry and it is quick and easy to make. Try it, You'll like it! Just like me, you will probably tinker with the recipe to suit your taste, but it would be hard to improve this recipe. Right mom?

It's hard for me to rate this because I didn't follow the recipe to a "T"...but it still came out alright, so I said, "why not? I mixed up all the ingredients and found that I was lacking in cream of mushroom soup - instead I substituted a can of creamed corn and found that it served the same purpose. With the addition of a 1/4 of milk, the casserole was creamy goodness. Not bad for an end of the week meal with the left-overs from the cupboard :)

This was okay. It was really easy and quick, but thanks to some other reviews, I added about 1 c. of milk. If I had't of done that, it would have been VERY dry. It was a little bland. I think with a little work, this could be a great recipe, but if you make it as is, it is just okay.

To the recipe, it was a little dry. Great flavor and easy to prepare. I will add sour cream next time. I omitted the peas and added a whole can of mushrooms. Love the potato chip and cheese topping.

I followed the recipe as written, but took the advice of other reviewers and baked it in a 2qrt casserole rather than a 9x13. It was perfect. I had been craving tuna casserole and this fit the bill perfectly.

I Was Pleasently Suprised With This Tuna Casserole. Was Very Tasty. I Did Take Some Advice From Other Reviews, And I Added 1 1/2 cups of milk, 3 cups of cheese, 18 oz of White Albacore Tuna, Bow Ties Pasta, Mixed Vegtables. I Will Make This Again. It Made More Then I Had Thought. Nice Recipe And Change.

Very good - easy, fast and tasty. I added a couple tablespoons of mayo the second time I made this - it helps with the consistency, I think. Sauteed the chopped onion with fresh mushrooms (not canned) before adding to the other ingredients.

It's been decades since I've had tuna cassarole and this one renewed my interest. I used cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic, small bow tie pasta, and extra milk. Not really interested in peas of extra mushrooms. I make it all the time now and wished I had thought about putting cheese in it a long time ago!

This was a great Tuna Casserole!! One change I made was to add Hoffman Super Sharp Cheddar to the top(sliced from the deli). It browned up nicely and gives a nice zing to the taste!! The onion is a nice addition to this dish. Lastly, it was easy to make, I will have left overs for luch at work, and the cost is minimal.
