I liked this, but I think the onions need to be cooked before adding them to the casserole. Otherwise they are way too crunchy and overpower the dish.

This is good tuna casserole... for what it is. I'm not a fan of using processed stuff in my recipes, but I had some cans to use up. I added 1/4 soup can of water and used bread crumbs instead of chips for topping. Also used other suggestions and baked in a smaller baking dish. Overall, very easy, very quick, and great tasting.

I baked this at 375 until the cheese was bubbling (about 30 minutes). This was tasty but mine turned out a liitle dry even though I added 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup sour cream. I added a little more milk at the end and that helped. Next time I think I will make it with less noodles and see if that helps.

Although I wasn't too sure about the tuna, with a few modifications I made, as I didn't have some of the ingredients, the casserole came out really good!!! I added milk as otherwise it would have came out too dry. I also added 2 tbsp of sour cream, 1/4 tspn of cayenne pepper, 1/2 cup of canned whole kernel corn, and the onion that the recipe called for, I sauteed it prior to adding it to the mix and also added 2 tbsp of butter. I fried thin sliced potatoes as I didn't have any potato chips, and also added some Southwestern style browned hash browns on top, before adding the second cup of cheddar cheese. In the future, I would add some salt and pepper and see how it comes out.

This is an excellent, easy, cheap, family-friendly recipe! I made it for dinner last night and it went over very well. I was out of egg noodles, so I used 12 oz. of elbow macaroni instead. I also skipped the mushrooms, because my family doesn't care for them. Other than that, I made it exactly as written. It was delicious! The topping is what made it so yummy, I think. The only problem I had was the amount of servings this recipe is supposed to make...we got more like 8-10 servings rather than 6. Thanks so much for sharing...this one is going in our regular rotation!!!

As written, this recipe is too dry and bland for my taste hence the 3 stars. On my second go around I sauted the onion in a TSP of oil with a clove of garlice before adding to the mixture. I also added a 1.5 cup of milk, a few dashes of fresh ground black pepper and used buttered wheat bread crumbs instead of chips on top. Much better results!

Good old fashioned tuna casserole. Not the healthiest (pretty high calorie content), but one of those things worth splurging for.

delicious!! i used unseasoned bread crumbs and added my own concoction of spices and herbs instead of the potato chips. I nixed the mushrooms (not a fan) and added more peas. Will make it again!

I did not find this dry as others did. It was a hit with the family. The only thing I will do differently next time is saute the unions.

Very mediocre, even with a little miracle whip and personal spices added. Would definitely avoid chip topping, doesn't save for leftovers well.

I'm not a big fan of tuna casserole and made this per my family's request. We all loved it - even me. I tweaked just a little: added less onion (for kids) but then used onion powder and garlic powder, used Italian bread crumbs instead of potato chips, and added a splash of milk (due to some reviews saying it was dry). It came out great.

My family is quite skeptical about tuna casseroles, but this one put their fears to rest. The combination of the soups and cheese made a lovely casserole that didn't have that overwhelming tuna flavor that so often comes with a tuna casserole. Make the recipe just as is...it works!

I personally am not a fan of tuna casserole, so I made it for my husband and he loved it! It was my first attempt at a tuna casserole and it was a hit. He doesn't like mushrooms so I left them out and used cream of celery instead. He also really loves cheese so I probably used close to 4 cups of cheese. I left out the chips because I didn't have any. My husband really, really loved it!

This was awesome, I used a cheddar cheese soup instead of the mushroom and added a little milk. I covered the casserole for 15 min then another 15 uncovered, wasn't dry at all. Thank you for this recipe
