I so appreciate comments others have made. This recipe - as a base - is a very good one. I created a hybrid from comments others have made and created a delicious casserole last evening. I used an 18 oz bag of noodles, two cans of creme of mushroom soup, one can of cheddar cheese soup and a half cup milk. Mixed with 3 - 6 oz cans of tuna, peas, shredded cheese, etc. I topped it with crumled potato chips and a little of the shredded cheese and baked for 40 minutes because I used a deeper casserole dish. All this to say that I cannot wait to have the leftovers today. It was a great base recipe and i hope to try the canned asparagus spears on another winter weekend in this hearty, satisfying dish.

Family loved it! I did do some adjustments though. I added sour cream to keep the dish moist and I added salt, pepper, and garlic to taste. This really made if flavorful! Thank you for such a wonderful dish!

Great recipe just like mom made. Like other reviewers, I added milk for more moisture, substituted fresh sauteed mushrooms for hte canned and used whole grain/cholesterol free noodles.

What do you do when you have a few cans of tuna on hand and you're debating what to make for dinner? You make this recipe! It was very good, and we all enjoyed it very much. My minor alterations: One extra can of tuna; corn flakes instead of chips (covered with spray butter); and frozen peas and carrots instead of just peas. I will definitely make this again.

I substituted clams for tuna and used water chestnuts instead of pasta and edamame instead of the peas and milk instead of the cheese and after boiling for 20 hours, it didn't need to be baked. The potato chips were yummy on the side straight out of the bag. JUST KIDDING! This was perfect as directed and is our new favourite!

Just your standard, basic tuna casserole. However, it IS pretty good and even better the next day warmed up. I sauteed my onions so they wouldn't be crunchy.

Love this recipe. Its simple enough to make in no time! The chips make the casserole. My husband asks for this all the time.

REALLY good and easy and adaptable. I used 1 can cr of mushroom, and 1 can cr of chicken, since that's what I had. Added 1 can milk as others suggested. I added 1 1/2 cans mushrooms, as we are mushroom lovers. Mixed the cheese in rather than put half on top. Also I had no egg noodles or potato chips, so I used shell noodles and buttered seasoned bread crumbs for the top (which made a nice crunchy crust). Added approx. 1 tsp salt, and 2 tsp pepper, and 1 tsp celery seed for flavor. I have been resisting making *any* tuna casseroles, since my mother made the most awful tuna casseroles for us as kids(lol). My boyfriend sort of dared me to try one, and I'm glad I picked this recipe! I noticed a few reviewers did not like the onions, but we thought they added good flavor and texture.Really good and so easy.

Just finished this for dinner and it was very tasty. It was so last minute what to cook for my son and I, I even baked it without having onions or fresh mushrooms handy... still turned out great! Very quick and very easy... thanks!

My family and I absolutely LOVEEEE this recipe!! I've made it about 3 time snow. I read and followed the other user review's once, followed the recipes as is once, and then did my own alterations. The user reviews turned out to be very helpful with my own alterations. I omitted the mushrooms, we're not a big fan, and felt there was enough in the mushroom soup. I sauteed the onion in 2TBS of butter until tender then I mixed it with the peas and used 1 can mushroom soup, 1 can cheddar soup instead of the 2cns mushroom. I also mixed in 1/2 can milk and 1 cup of sour cream, it was very creamy not at all soupy, but with the perfect consistency. I also sprinkled in about 1 tbs of salt, 2tbs of pepper, and 2tbs of garlic powder. I sprinkle the cheese on before sprinkling on the lays original potato chips. This recipe gets a RAVE review from me and have been asked for the recipe from out company pinic! Thank you for sharing!

I love this. As a matter of fact, between my husband and I-he ate it once when I first served it. I'll admit, he said it was one of the best tuna casseroles he's ever had, but I ate all of the leftovers. Not all at once- over 4 days. yum.
