This is an awesome marinade... we had it on some really cheap steak and it was tough but tasted great... thanks to this marinade. I will definitely use this again... and buy better steak next time. :)

We absolutely loved this marinade. It is easy to make, and within a few hours, steaks taste wonderful. The first time I made it, I mixed it by hand in a bowl, which was OK, but the herbs remained a little too chunky for our tastes. The next time, I blended it as directed in the original recipe, and it was perfect. I marinated New York Strips in this for about 4-5 hours, then used some of the marinade to baste while grilling. Excellent!

Very flavorful; I don't like that it has to be done in the AM (as I'm always pressed for time), but overnight would be way too long.

This was very good, but not my favorite one ever. (My fave would be Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks, from this site). I used as many fresh things as possible (basil, garlic) and marinated sirloin steaks all day. Then we grilled them. Very yummy!

This really is the best ever. I never have been that thrilled with steak on the grill...until now. This is perfect, because it is not too salty like some other marinades. The taste was amazing!

I used freeze dried basil, onion powder instead of garlic (about a teaspoon), and about 2 tsp minced garlic. I also let these marinate overnight, as dinner plans ended up changing. We grilled them tonight for dinner with company. Was it the "best in existence"? The general consensus was no, but it was good. Will I do it again? Maybe. I'll probably keep searching for one that my family raves about.

I made this exactly as the recipe calls, but this was too acidic for my taste. I would make this again, but bring the lemon juice down to 1 tablespoon. I did like the combination of everything else, but it was just too acidic with the 1/3 cup of lemon juice.

A great name for a great marinade! I followed the directions with the exception of using fresh basil & parsley and poured it over New York strip steaks overnight. They were the best steaks we've ever grilled.

This is just perfect. I use it all the time for steak in stir-fry recipes, and last night I used it for grilling a big slab of beef. My husband was literally moaning at how delicious it was. I do substitute 2 cloves fresh garlic, pressed, for the garlic powder.

This was very good, I used it for two ribeyes. My husband and I liked it very well. I used black pepper instead of white, since I don't like white pepper, but other than that followed the recipe. Very good, will make again for sure.
