This is a wonderful marinade. I used it on some bone-in NY steaks and the flavor was perfect. I put them in the marinade in the morning and bbq'd them that evening. The marinade is thick, so it stays with the meat while it cooks. The lemon was not overwhelming ... just right. Thanks for a definite do again recipe!

Delicious and easy! I added about a tablespoon of white sugar and about a half teaspoon of ground cumin. I used the marinade on a flank steak.

I only marniated them for alittle over an hour and it still was great...!! I joined this site just so I could tell you how much me and my family really love this stuff.!! Thank you so very much for sharing it.

My husband and some friends went crazy for this recipe! (i'm a vegetarian, so i didn't eat any steak but i can tell you that marinade smelled amazing) I did cut half the basil because i thought that 4 1/2 tbsp dried herbs was a little heavy and dried basil gets overpowering, in my opinion. Also, i was in a hurry, so i didn't blend it, i just whipped it in a bowl and then put it in a ziploc with the steak. I massaged the steak and flipped the bag over every 20-30 minutes and everyone said it turned out great. I'll definitely make this again!

The name says it all! I use this exclusively to make K-bobs w/ Top Sirloin. Try the juice and zest of a lime for a change or half lemon-half lime. Can't miss!!!!!

did not like it at all. i prefer more of a ginger garlic soya sauce brown sugar combo. lacked flavour even though my steaks marinated all day.

I marinated boneless ribeye steaks overnight (16 hours). We grilled the steaks and my entire family loved the flavor. I'm glad I blended the ingredients (I used my Magic Bullet) because it kept the ingredients from "separating". This marinade is definitely a keeper!

Made two rib eye steaks (big ones) with this marinade last night and it was the best steak I have ever made. I left out the hot sauce (not a fan) and lemon juice (on accident) and it was still fantastic. I pan seared the steaks in a cast iron skillet for about 6 minutes each side and then popped it in the oven for another 10 min to finish it off. Perfection! And made delicious cold leftovers also! I keep sneaking bites all day.

My hubby loved it, but I thought it had too much basil. I'm going to make again, but next time add little or no basil.

My husband is extremely particular when it comes to steak. I could not make a steak for him at home that he enjoyed until I found this marinade. Now, we enjoy eating in! This makes the steak so tender!
