I made this spinach dip for Easter. Even though I had said I was brining the dip, two others also made a spinach dip!! This one got eaten, and people started stealing the bread from the other dips to use with my recipe!
I omitted the water chestnuts (I felt that was a bit too 'different' for the crowd I was making it for) but made sure to add the leek soup as other reviewers had suggested. I made it the night before and let it sit in the fridge overnight so that the flavours could mingle. I will certainly make this again!
