Really simple and really delicious! My rice cooked perfectly and my salsa gave it a nice kick (I have a seasoning mix that you add fresh tomatoes and lime juice to for instant salsa, much better than your average store bought jar, although some are quite good!). Served this with Salsa Chicken from this site and steamed veggies, yummy!

best and easiest! I have made spanish rice from scratch before and this tastes just as good and there's no chopping. I usually only use 1 cup of rice so we don't end up with too many leftovers. I use 2 cups of stock and 3/4 cup pace salsa.

What a simple way to make this!! It turns out I only used one cup of rice. I liked the rice-to-salsa ratio I used. I used a rice cooker and thew everything in the rice cooker. Turned out wonderfully!

Good and easy. I added some peas and less salsa. However, it was still too spicy for the kids. I will use the mild salsa next time.

Ok, so I made this recipe and it was super easy! I am giving it four stars because even following the recipe exactly, the end result will be affected by the type and flavour of the salsa you use.( I prefer Herdez it tastes so fresh!) I also added a little extra broth near the end of cooking time. Came out great, thanks for the great shortcut!

So good. Followed the first review and browned the rice prior to adding the broth and once the rice and broth came to a boil I covered and left until the timer rang then turned off the fire and waited 5+ minutes before looking. I will definately be adding this to my side dishes for mexican food. The left over rice I put into a ziploc bag and put into the freezer.

This is ok, nothing special. I prefer starting with chicken stock, using a can of tomato sauce, cumin, and mexican spices. Tastes more authentic that way. This is similar to a rice a roni type mexican rice. Meh.

Easy and delicious! I used minced onion because I was short on time and it worked perfectly. Will definitely make again.

Delicious! The only changes I made were: used canned tomatoes w/ chili's instead of salsa, used onion salt because I didn't have any onions on hand, added minced garlic and a dash of creole seasoning. Turned out great!!!! next time will also put tomatoes in the blender with the broth and garlic so the tomatoes arent as chunky.

This is a nice simple recipe and with two active boys that is perfect for me. I did add a little chili powder to it to give it a little extra spice. But other than that I followed the recipe and everyone liked it.

I followed the directions exactly, and it turned out perfectly. It had a great texture and plenty of liquid for cooking. It doesn't taste like salsa and rice at all. I used a cilantro-chipotle salsa, and it was delicious. This is the easiest, tastiest Spanish rice recipe I've ever tried.

This recipe is fantastic! My family does not care for chunky salsa, so I puree it first. Additionally, I added 1 tsp. cumin to give it some traditional zing. Don't skip the sautee and don't open the lid until its time. This is a perfect side dish for mexican night at my house!
