They are the BEST. I changed to all brown sugar instead of white. They were awesome. Everyone that ate one wanted the recipe.

Wow! these are so supurb and addictive. I was really worried about them when the batter was crubmly when I rolled them into balls, and then when I transferred them to cool, they tended to fall apart. But once they cooled, they were chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. So delicious! Definitely a keeper! Who needs to add all that butter that most PB cookies call for? Tasty hint - they are really good frozen as well!

My husband loves these. I cut the sugar to about 1 1/2 cups and only bake about 7-8 minutes. The other review where they were complaining they were crumbly obviously over cooked them. They were soft and yummy!

These were moist, but you can hear the sugar crunching between your teeth when you eat them. Lacks something, but not bad for a quick easy cookie.

I loved this recipe! The cookies came out perfectly chewy and taste like store bought! I love how simple the ingredients are. I followed the ingredient list to a "T" and used chunky peanut butter. I am usually terrible at baking from scratch but this recipe made me feel like a pro! Thanks!!!!!!!!

I thought these cookies were delicious, but I was surprised how much my kids & hubby LOVED them! I used 1 jar of natural peanut butter which is all we use lately anyway. I added a couple pinches of Cream of Tartar as suggested in another review, and the cookies were not flat at all. I also used brown sugar to replace about a 1/4 cup of the white, and for the white I used organic sugar. The dough was a little drier than I expected, with some of the cookies being a bit crumbly on the edge, but I think that's my own fault for not measuring carefully enough. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Made with 3/4 c white sugar and 3/4 c brown sugar. My husband who does not have a sweet tooth is asking for these cookies nowadays for breakfast!

I loved these cookies! My major complaint about pb cookies is that they don't taste enough like peanut butter--these are rich and very peanutty. I found that at 8 minutes in the oven, the cookies are chewy and fudgy. At 10 minutes, the center of the cookie remains chewy, but the edges get crumbly and the cookie practically turns to powder in your mouth. If you've made them but wished the texture was different, I'd suggest playing around with the baking time. Great recipe! Update: Having made these a couple of times now, I'm going to strongly disagree with the reviewers who suggest using natural peanut butter. I think the dough is MUCH easier to work with using the cheap stuff. I appreciate the sentiment, and if I were eating a pb sandwitch, I'd use the natural stuff, but Jif or an off-brand, with its uniform (albeit processed) consistency is a better choice for a somewhat finicky dough. Also, this dough does NOT age well--make the cookies immediately. I found that even a few hours in the fridge were enough to make the dough impossible to roll. And keep it covered between batches! Still my favorite pb cookie recipe.

These deserve 0 stars but you can't give anything less than 1 star. I will NEVER make these rotten things again. Horrible taste & texture. A complete waste of time & ingredients! They wont even stay together. You pick them up & they crumble apart. They're like taking peanut butter & sugar & just eating it but dry.

My boyfriend, the peanut butter freak, really enjoyed these (even though I used 'off' brand peanut butter vs. his preferred Jif). The recipe made a lot of cookies and they were very easy to make. Liked the simple, basic ingredients.

These really are the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had. I found it difficult to roll the cookies into balls with the chocolate chunks in them so I rolled the dough and then jammed two chocolate chunks into the top. It was easier and also made them look nice.

Quite tasty; quite crumbly. You have to watch the salt -- the brand of PB we use has very little, and it was noticeable. The second batch, we added a couple of pinches and they were much better.

Great recipe and so easy! I've been looking for a PB cookie recipe that's chewy & this is perfect. I do agree with some reviewers that it's a tad sweet, in future I will swap half the white sugar for brown, and add abt 3-4 tablespoons of flour. Oh and the original recipe yields like almost 70 cookies instead of 3 dozen. Halving the original recipe gave me 36. :)

These were really good, I used 1/2 white sugar and 1/2 brown sugar. Next time I may reduce the amount of sugar and just use brown. They were a little sweeter then necessary.

Really good cookie. My kids found it too peanutbuttery. I did not think so at all but I will add less sugar next time and just barely flaten them with my hand instead of using the tines of a fork, they turned out too crumbly to hold that way.
