I used high quality organic peanut butter and followed the recipe exactly. They were so oily they melted into a flat, gooey mess on the cookie sheet. Don't know what went wrong, but this one didn't work at all for me. If I try this again, I will try a different brand of peanut butter and cut the sugar way back.

This is the first time I made peanut butter cookies, but they seemed flat and dry. Either way they still tasted good. I think my preference is just soft cookies. *don't press down on the fork too hard* because it cracks the dough and makes the cookies way too flat.

I enjoyed these cookies - they were easy to make and yummy. I used natural peanut butter, so mine probably weren't as sweet as if I had used your average processed store brand. Not bad at all.

All I could taste was baking soda...these were not at all what i thought they would be. They looked okay which i take blame for because i made them a little bigger but they were not good at all.

After reading all of the great reviews, I was excited to give this recipe a try. I don't know what I did wrong... I followed the directions exactly. However, my cookies came out paper-thin and not like the ones pictured in other reviews. The taste was not bad, but nothing to rave about. I even tried to add flour as one of the reviewers suggested, but this helped little and the cookies were too crumbly to even eat after adding the flour.

I don't know what to say but YUM! I brought these to work and everyone raved. They could not get over the fact they were flourless. I used chunky pb and followed everything but the cooking time, only because my oven runs a bit hot. Amazing, will make again and again. Thank you!

wow - thought I would love it, but I did not.- too sugary and the flavors just didn't seem to blend. I tasted sugar and baking soda instead the peanut butter.

These cookies were very good but it does matter on what peanut butter you decide to use.

Cookies were good. I did cut the sugar in half (& it could have used another 1/4 or so off). sorta crumbly, but good. I added chocolate chunks, and you definitely need to cut the sugar more if you do that.

These were the best cookies ever and so simple! I made these cookies for my dad and I'm only 13! He loved them even though he's not a peanut butter cookie kind of guy and I just couldn't resist them. Since I just live with my dad I decided to cut the recipe in half and substitute half of the white sugar for brown sugar. I can't wait to make these again!

Excellent and easy. Split the sugars - use one cup white and one cup brown.

I was in the mood for some peanut butter cookies last night and wanted something quick and easy to put together. This fit the bill perfectly. I made no changes to the recipe and these cookies are so soft and melt in your mouth. I couldn't resist having a few more this morning and they are still as soft and delicious. Nice recipe, thanks for sharing.

Definitely a peanut butter lovers cookie. Very easy recipe which I loved, this cookie was too sweet for me and I used only 1 cup of sugar but next time I would use 1/2 cup and maybe try brown sugar instead of white. The texture is great crispy on the outside and chewy in the centre. Make sure you leave lots of room as these cookies spread. Also I used peanut butter with salt already added so no need to add salt.

Made half the recipe and they turned out fantastic. Used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown sugar, but left everything else the same. They are VERY peanut butter-y. A glass of milk with these is a must. Would absolutely make again.
