Fantastic! The only change I made was to use fresh oregano. This will be my new go-to marinara sauce recipe!

This is a great recipe, added some chopped spinach and served over whole wheat rotini with parmesan baked chicken.

the most perfect sauce! i've never found a jarred sauce i could enjoy but always thought making my own was difficult and time consuming... then i found this. it's delicious! sometimes i "test" it from the pan by the spoonful just to get to it a little sooner!

As if this needed another review! I liked it a lot. Subbed out diced tomatoes for stewed and dried parsley for fresh. I skipped the food processor step for a little bit chunkier result. I used some leftover Pinot Grigio. It was delish!

I had to find a recipe for spaghetti sauce because I wasn't sure if Ragu and Prego were kosher, besides the fact that I love cooking from scratch. I knew this recipe was worth trying because I love cooking with white wine, and it was so good and simple too. Throw everything in the blender, saute your onion and then add everything in the pot and simmer!! I used the 1 clove of garlic to blend in with the tomatoes, but I felt like that wasn't going to be enough for me, so I saute another clove with the onions, and it came out great!!! Not going back to the jar stuff!

This is now the sauce that I will be making permanently. I did not have any stewed tomatoes - only diced...so I boiled the 2 cans of diced tomatoes with a tsp of sugar. I used a tablespoon of dried parsley (I rarely have fresh) I used chicken broth instead of wine (I don't cook with wine) I also added the sauteed onions, oil and chicken broth to the food processor after cooking, to puree the onions with the sauce. (Son doesn't like anything noticeable in his sauce) Then added back to the saucepan. Left on the stove for several hours and the flavors just keep getting better. Awesome recipe!!

Easy, delicious, good. Made a bunch and used for different purposes throughout the week. Used my favorite Muir Glen canned tomatoes.

I rarely keep to the recipe thinking I can always make it better but put my ego aside and followed the directions just as they were. Wow! What a good sauce. I used it with the "Baked Ziti I" from this site and I am ready to make some more.

This is a great marinara sauce. Even my 5 year old who is extremely picky loves this sauce. I only put in half of the wine, however. I love to serve it with homemade meatballs.

My husband LOVED this sauce. I used this sauce to feed about 50 people at my daughter's birthday party and got many compliments on the sauce!

This sauce was okay but no one really cared for it. It smelled great and tasted great before the wine was added. If I make this sauce again I won't be adding the wine.
