This is excellent and you can adjust the sugar to your taste. Strawberries were on sale last week, so I pureed some and added to the lemonade. I buy the bottled lemon juice at Sam's (2 huge bottles) for $5.00 and I use Splenda. It is so much more economical (even using the Splenda) than to buy the ready made drinks like Fuze that I have been buying. I'm sure it is much cheaper than buying Crystal Light too.

Sweet and not too tart! I was definitely not prepared to make this lemonade, since I had only half a lemon on hand! I just squeezed the heck out of that half lemon and made up for the rest with that fake lemon juice stuff. I don't think the flavor was effected much at all. Next time I will be much more prepared!

Very refreshing! I will make this again, but I will add 1 to 2 cups more of water. I did find it a little too tart for my taste.

I used bottled lemon juice and 1 1/2 cups of sugar. I still found it too sweet, next time I'll use 1 cup of sugar.

We followed the recipe to the T, except for cutting the sugar back a little (as I always do). This is wonderful Lemonade! I can't wait to make it again during the summer and spike it with Vodka for hot days by the pool!!!

It was a little too sugary for my preference so I juiced a few more lemons until it tasted more like lemons and less like sugar water.

I had a birthday party for my 1 year old daughter, both kids and adults, alike, loved the lemonaide. I had to triple the ingredients for a large decanter and it was yummy, indeed. No leftovers except the lemons at the bottom.

Very good! I halved the recipe and microwaved the sugar in 2 cups of water until dissolved. I used "Italian Volcano Lemon Juice" (not from concentrate). I thought it was a tad on the sweet side but it might've been the lemon juice. Next time I won't make a simple syrup...I'll just add sugar to the water and lemon juice. In the same amount of time it would take the simple syrup to cool, the sugar will have dissolved and will taste the same. This is how I've always made lemonade.

Absolutely fantastic! Everywhere I go, I'm asked to copy the recipe down for others to have! It's grown to be such a common drink that I have detered from juicing my own lemons and now just pour out the bottled stuff. I refuse to use any other recipe for lemonade! With some experimentations done, the best advice I can give is: Do NOT deviate from the recipe - original is truly the greatest, and dissolving the sugar over the stove is the secret, not the proportions of sugar to water to lemon juice! Cheers!
