This was pretty good, but there wasn't really that much broth. It ended up being a hardy leftover with no broth.

Very good, but need to find a meat shop since the grocers did not have "Sweet" sausage and it was a bit spicy for me and the girls.

Tasty soup, much better the next day. I would cut the noodle ammount in half and add twice as much zucchini.

I must have done something wrong. My husband had two bites and would'nt eat anymore (and he is easy to please). Mine just tasted like beef broth.

This recipe is excellent - I did use less noodles though. Even my two picky-eating boys wanted seconds!

My family REALLY loved this recipe! I used 1 Zucchini and 2 Small Yellow Summer Squash, homemade italian sausage and fresh spinach pasta. We will be making this again and again.

Serve with bread and it is a one pot dinner! Very hearty, yummy soup. As squash is out of season, I used carrots per previous reviewer. I will cook this often.

I adapted this recipe a little and our family loved it. I used hot italian sausage for half the amount called for, which spiced it up quite a bit. After cooking the broth, wine, tomatoes, onions and garlic, I pureed it in the blender and then put it back in the pot. It made my 12year old son, who said he wouldn't eat in when he saw the chunks of tomatoes and onion, decide to eat it. He had seconds! I also only used half of a 12oz. pkg. of the fettacine, and it was a good balance. ~Sunnyvale Mom

I thought the soup was quite good, except I thought it had too much pasta and I only used 12 oz. instead of the 16. I will probably make again.

Very Good. Large quanity. I would 1/2 the recipe next time. I didn't have any fat to spare so I used butter to cook the onion and garlic. My Mother would love this. This is like a soup they would serve at a nice restaurant. Serve with toasted Garlic Bread.

This was terrific. I served it for a dinner party. It accompanied Italian Stuffed Chicken Breasts (which were stuffed with Mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, and ham), risotto, and bread. Everyone commented on how delicious it is! Try it, you'll like it. I pre-cooked the sausage, then put everything into a slow-cooker on low/med setting. I added Accini Di Pepe as the pasta during the last hour. I cooked it a total of 6-8 hours. Boy, did it smell great!

My husband and our company loved this one. I made it with orzo pasta instead of fettucini. It was excellent. Will make again!

Great soup! Really flavourful, easy, and colourful. I made several changes, because I didn't have everything at home. I didn't have garlic. I used cooking sherry, and only used 1/2 cup. I used thyme instead of basil. I used only one zucchini and a small squash. I used only a very small amount of noodles, and thought it was perfect. I will definately make this again. Thanks!

The soup was delicious. However, it probably could have used more broth since once the pasta was added it was not much of a soup at all.

This was absolutely delicious. It had a great authentic Italian taste and was so easy to make. I would not change a thing. Very hearty, probably great on a chilly night. I would definitely make it again.

an excellent, filling soup. the kids like it with garlic bread and the parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of the soup. we use hot italian sausage to make it spicier. should have fewer noodles and noodles should be cut to 1-2" lengths for easier spooning.
