very good but i like to add garlic salt instead or regular salt and some crushed red peppers for a "spicier "guacamole .

Guacamole is traditionally made with lime not lemon and would have cumin and cayenne. Avacados are rich and don't need any extra oil. This recipe is ok, but doesn't need any oil because avacados are oily. Also use lime, it'll taste closer to the real thing.

Just wonderful! I made a couple of additions/substitutions for personal preference. For 8 servings: 1 T of lime juice to replace the lemon, 1/4 t onion powder for chopped onion, added 1 1/2 cloves of garlic, 1 T of cilantro & a bit of cumin. Too Yummy - Thanks!

I whipped this up really quickly one evening and really liked. I too used 1TBSP of Olive Oil, 1/2 TBSP of Lemon Juice, 1TBSP of sour cream and I added have of a plum tomato. Probably not the best Guacamole I've ever had, but it was pretty tasty!

I used the lemon juice as the recipe said, however, did add a bit of garlic, cumin and salsa that others mentioned adding. (I was out of cilantro, but will add that, as others suggested, next time I make it.) While I'm not a fan of guacamole, my husband loved it :) I'm sure he'll be asking for this one again!

Wonderful guacamole! I only gave it 4 stars because I made a couple of changes from necessity. I used the juice of one lime, and added a bit of garlic and cumin. I did not add olive oil at all as I have none at the moment; I didn't see the point of adding it anyway, since the consistency was perfect without it. This was delicious -- thanks for sharing this recipe.

I am giving this 5 stars because my son and his girlfriend inhaled it! They thought it was the best they have ever had. I really liked it as well, but preferred to add a little garlic, a little salsa and a heaping teaspoon of mayonaisse (the southern in me).

Excellent!! It's also good with lime instead of lemon. I've made it several times and love it more each time we fix it.

I modified it a bit. Put a diced tomato in and lots of cilantro and lime instead of lemon. Cumin definitely flavors it up a little bit more but only a little is needed. Garlic too, but i put garlic in everything.
