These were wonderful. A little messy to do at first, but I think with practice it will be easier. Great taste. Thanks for the receipe.

Made these and thought it was one of my crowning culinary accomplishments. It took quite a bit longer than I guessed and a lot more japelenos than I thought, (had to go back to the store) I had more cheese mixture than anything, so I hope it helps someone if I say make sure you have plenty of bread crumbs, flour, milk and peppers. But I was glad I made them, because now I have a freezer with many delicious appetizers ready for guests and/or my boyfriend who loved them. Left some seeds in and used pepper jack with cheddar and cream cheese because we like them good and hot. P.S. I wanted to add to this review, there are about three things that I neglected to say, first I used Turkey bacon in place of pork and I've not yet tasted bacon in these poppers so it doesn't add to the recipe to do that. Next when I said I left some seeds in, this made them Very Hot, it's great. Lastly, it would probably work better to boil the pepper a little first, like some reviewers have suggested because although they're good aldente, the breading separates when you bite them. I would think it would work better to have them softer.

Best jalapeno poppers ever. My boyfriend loves the ones from Arbys and he says these taste absolutely awesome. He'd eat the whole batch standing up if I let him. I omitted the bacon as I didn't have any. Made a sweet chili sauce to go with them and were just fabulous. Making again for the Bears vs. Packers game.

these were very good. I had to make a few changes because I didn't have some ingredients. I added green onion instead of bacon and cornflake crumbs instead of bread crumbs. I made extra and froze them so hopefully they'll turn out great also!

These were better than any store bought jalapeno poppers. I rolled them in the milk and breadcrumbs twice to ensure a good crust. I also left most of the white membrane in the jalapeno, to give them heat. These were so good! Thank you.

So I made these with fresh Jalapeno's from someone's garden on Halloween night. My first mistake was when I boiled them my whole family started choking from the aroma, my mother in law walked in with my neice and they started choking as well, so I prepared them but was then scared to cook them, I didn't want to kill anyone after making them choke to death, so I didn't cook them tell after they left. After all that they ended up being pretty good, not worth the time though, I will just by them next time.

I have made these a few times for family gatherings and everyone loves them. The only thing I change is I use green onions instead of bacon. They freeze great too. I also use gloves when handling the peppers as they burn my fingers.

Excellent and delicious, very time consuming dish. I followed other reviews suggestings: boiling jalapeno's whole for 4 minutes. I had trouble seeding them, becuase they were SO spicy it burnt and I was nearly coughing 1/2 way through. I didnt half these jalapenos. I cut a slit down the middle and loaded the filling which reduced leakage (to nothing) while cooking. I also heard some reviews these werent spicy enough so i added tabasco, but BE CAREFUL because i may have added a lil much and they were SO incredibly spicy. I also recommend using the horseradish dip recipe posted in earlier reviews if you want to add an extra kick and opt not to use tabasco (probably smarter). I made 32 and it took closer to 1hr 45 mins.

These were good, but I think i needed to boil the peppers longer because they still seemed too tough when you bit into them. They really do take a long time, but it is worth it- just to have your own homemade jalapeno poppers!

I used your recipe as a base but instead of adding cheddar cheese, I added a small amount of blue cheese and a bit of grated mozzarella along with bacos. For the second dipping I used egg instead of milk with the bread crumbs. The coating stayed on great and they were DELICIOUS!

These were awesome and surprisingly not too hard to put together. *I tried these a second time but with some changes for what I had on hand. I guess you could say they really aren't like the recipe. I used a can of diced jalapenos and some extra cheese. I also added a tbl of bacon fat from when i baked them for these. Mixed all toether and rolled into balls. I rolled the ball in flour and then dipped in milk and breaded like usual. I did 3 coats to ensure the mixture stayed it. I baked them and they tasted great, but I do suggest frying them because they get a more solid crust.

These are yummy, but a lot of work (especially wearing gloves...which i learned the hard way that you shoud do when dealing with jalapenos). I think this would be great with pepperjack, but since I didn't have any I seasoned my cheese blend with lots of garlic and onion salt.

This recipe is great! It is a little time consuming but I just picked a Sunday afternoon while I was watching football and took my time. I thought it would be hard to make but it was easy and they fried up so nice and freeze so well. I froze mine after I cooked them and then microwave them. They come out perfect. I think next time i will add a little green onion to them.

WOW! This recipe is THE BEST. Just like a restaurant. Triple coating and letting each coat "set" is key. Time consuming, but totally worth the effort. My only changes are that I use real bacon that I chop up and I blanch the peppers for 2 or 3 minutes before I stuff them. I grow jalapenos in my garden so I wait until I have a LOT of them and I increase this recipe as needed. Then I flash freeze the poppers BEFORE frying. Throw them into a freezer bag and whenever I want some poppers I can fry up as many or as little as needed. They are just as awesome from the freezer and You can get all the hard work done in one day! Thank you for this crowd pleaser!!!

I am so sad these weren't as great as everyone said they were. I bought enough ingredients to make the whole recipe, but only made half this first time. I'm glad I did. I will definately follow some of the advice listed in the reviews second time around. Even though it looked like a was over stuffing the peppers, they came out with little filling in the end. They weren't very spicy at all (to me, my BF was sniffling a little) so I will leave in a few of the seeds next tine. I will season the flour also, maybe with some seasoned salt. I used PANKO bread crumbs and they were so crunchy. I'm not sure what they're like with regular, but I enjoyed the breading this way. I will maybe use half seasoned, half panko next time. Also, I tripled what they recommended for the bacon, and I still didn't taste, so I may use real bacon instead of 'real bacon bits'. All in all, very time consuming as stated many times over, and bland. Good Luck!!!
