These cookies deserve they're title! They are truly the best ever. My family won't even let me buy store bought cookies anymore. I have to keep a constant supply of the ingredients because they go so quickly. Soft, chewy and delicious. I've tried a few different recipes on here and these are definitely the best. Thanks for an easy and delicious recipe!! Hope

These cookies are scrumptious! I wanted to give them as Christmas gifts but my husband and kids kept eating them. I add a teaspoon of vanilla and a half teaspoon of salt. Have also added cocoa to make chocolate chocolate chip -- yummy!

This was a quick easy recipe for chocolate chip cookies, but I wasn't happy with the results. Most of my friends & I like the super soft type of chocolate chip cookies, but these cookies came out like floury scones instead of cookies that cooked up like little cakes instead of cookies with a high vertical measurement. Also, I could taste the 1 teaspoon of baking soda throughout the batch. The batter looked so good, I was hopeful, but I think a mix of butter & oil or butter & sourcream creates a better cookie softness. 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda is all that's needed, not a full teaspoon, since it was too much. Vanilla extract would have helped take away some of the floury taste too, but that was missing from the recipe. If you love scones, however, you may like this recipe.

They were not the "best" I've ever ate but they were good and pretty easy to make. I did add 1/2 tsp. vanilla and a couple of dashes of salt like someone suggested. My first batch flattened out and ran together. My daughter than rolled them into balls and they came out wonderful. Did not use parchment paper but simply sray with Pam and it work just as well.

THis cookie was okay, but it was too cakey for my taste. I prefer chewier or crunchier cookies, not so spongy. I preferred it after a few days.

Good standard recipe. I'd just as soon use the recipe on the bag of chips, though. Nice flavor and my 7 year old loved them (that's what it's all about, isn't it?). Thanks.

These are the best ever chocolate chip cookies -- and I don't even like chocolate chip cokies. They are soft and chewy, and the brown sugar gives them a little toffee type flavor. Maybe I will try adding heath bars next time. Great recipe.

These were really not very good. They tasted very plain and like cake more than chewie. They were very easy to make but I don't think they are worth the money I spent on the ingredients.

These are the best chocolate chip cookies! They taste just as good as the urban legend chocolate chip cookies (the ones with the blended oatmeal) but these are so much easier to make. I also added 1/2 tsp. each of vanilla and salt, as well as 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. Wonderful recipe, we'll be using this one often!

Great cookies! I think the dough does better after a bit of chilling, especially if your kitchen is warm. You do not want the cookie melting before it cooks! This may be what went wrong for those who've had bad luck with this recipe.

Excellent cookies. Quick and easy....and the best part.. don't have to take out my mixer. A whisk (and wooden spoon when mixing flower) does it all....If you like soft and chewy then try this recipe!

So easy and great flavor. We made them a little larger - fewer cookies - any they looked like bakery cookies.
