I've tried these baked and fried and they're definitely better fried. If you're gonna have egg rolls, then have egg rolls and fry them. I also increased the spices and added a little bit of hot pepper sesame oil to the meat/veggie mixture. I also used ground turkey instead of ground pork.

These are the best egg rolls, at least a good starter recipe. Way better than what you get at a restaurant. We make a really great dipping sauce from soy sauce, garlic, rice wine vinegar and green onions - delicious!

These are wonderful!!! Finally an egg roll recipe that doesn't use oyster sauce. I use veggie sausage and a cole slaw mix but otherwise followed the recipe. Even my kids loved them!

After reading many reviews calling these plain, I upped the seasoning quite a bit. I cooked the pork and then wilted some coleslaw mix with the drained pork and seasonings for a couple of minutes. I wouldn't suggest adding liquid to the mix because it can make the wrappers turn to mush. Also, only wrap a few at a time or the wrappers get soft and soggy. These are so tasty and it's a lot of fun rolling them up. Thanks for the recipe, Angela!

Good recipe. I made as recipe states, but next time I will decrease meat by half and increase cabbage to 3 cups and add some bean sprouts. Overall a really easy and tasty recipe, Thanks!

i read all the reviews and saw that most people thought it was too bland..i used mild breakfast sausage and coleslaw and they turned out amazing!!! my family def wants these again

These are great! They reheat in the oven really well! The only thing, I would saute the filling to avoid some air pockets.
