Gosh I have always loved these. Can't imagine why I only think to make them at Christmastime. They melt in your mouth. Adore raspberry with almond flavoring. I had to add 2 Tbs of softened cream cheese to get this dough to pull together for me. Made it a bit sticky so I used floured hands to roll the dough into balls. Did not need nearly the 14 minutes to bake for me. Five Stars!

My new favorite cookie! I also like to dip them in chocolate instead of covering with jelly. Yummmm

These turned out really yummy. Mine didn't look anywhere as pretty as the pictures that other reviewers submitted, but they did taste wonderful. Mine spread out quite a bit for some reason. I used strawberry jelly instead of raspberry jam and left off the glaze, but followed the recipe for everything else.

Really Tasty. :) I'm making these cookies for a school party. I also freezed the dough instead of refrigerating it. I would recommend this recipe to other people.

Wonderful! So easy to make and tastes great! I rolled them to the size of a marble and used the wooden spoon, overfilled with rasberry jelly and sprinkled with powdered sugar when done. Possiblites are endless! Thank you for sharing!

so easy to make! thank you for all of the tips. i don't have a mixer, so i cubed the butter and melted some of it to get it to cream faster. it worked great. also, i didn't have to refrigerate the dough. it was very workable after mixing. added raspberry jam from trader joes. these cookies were so simple and perfect. just the right amount of jam. also, used vanilla extract instead of almond and just put powdered sugar on top, no glaze. these are my new favorite!

I'm not sure what went wrong, but when I doubled the recipe I couldn't get the dough right. I slapped what I could on the cookie sheet, tried to fill them with preserves even though they were crumbly and hoped for the best. What I got tasted like a pop tart. I threw away the rest of the 'dough' without making the second batch.

These were a huge hit as far as being easy, and fantastic flavor! Everyone wanted these cookies! The jam cooks out of the center a bit so that affects the appearance. Maybe the glaze helps that not matter. We ate ours without glaze because they tasted so perfect that way. YUM!!
