This is a delicious and refreshing fruit salad. Now is the time to make it before all the delicious summer fruits are gone. The salad goes great with a spicy dish. I too was careful not to let the cream cheese topping get too thin. Love this!

I made this to take on a picnic this weekend and it was a huge hit. I picked it because I wanted a fruit salad without some of the fruits a lot of people complain about in fruit salad (melon, apple, banana). Everyone loved it and had seconds. I will say that I added an extra nectarine and next time I will not add all of the liquid to the cream cheese mixture as it came out a little too thin--more of a drizzle than a dollop. Great tasting, even the second day!
