I was disappointed with this recipe. The crisp was not a very good flavour and a strange consistency. I'm not sure how to make it better...perhaps add some orange zest. I'll keep searching for a different crisp recipe.

One word: delicious!!! I followed this recipe almost exactly for my mother's day treat (except I used some frozen fruits because I didn't have fresh but I still used raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries) and it was amazing. I am definitely going to make this again. I liked that it didn't use butter too. The honey and apple juice concentrate were just the right amount of sweet.

I used frozen berries and it turned out delicious. Maybe just a little too sweet. Looking forward to having with vanilla frozen yogurt tomorrow night.

Loved this!! Added a little more lemon juice which turned out to be a nice contrast to the sweetness of the berries.

As much as I love low sugar recipes. . . This one was not too good. It was far too tart to tolerate. I ended up making something with the crisp with more topping and I added some sugar and whatnot. I dunno, I followed the direction to the T but, eh - not so good. Sorry. I tried it at least.

This is very yummy. I put old fashioned oats in the food processor for a few seconds since I did not have quick-cooking variety. I also substituted brown rice flour to accommodate a gluten free diet. It was delicious although the filling was a little soupy when warm from the oven.

Changes: 4 cups of strawberries/blueberries, all-purpose flour, 2 packets of maple brown sugar instant oatmeal, and Old Orchard Apple Cherry Juice concentrate. Used these things I had on hand. Excellent! Great dessert for those w/ dairy allergies!
