I used peaches instead of blueberries - that part was great. However, the crust was very crumbly and hard to work with. (I have to admit that, although I love to cook, I'm not very good at baking or making sweets - so this could be all my fault). The end result was just so-so. Ate some the next day and they weren't good at all- you could really taste the oil from frying.

These started off good until I had to roll out the dough...it was crumbly and really hard to work with. So after I finally got it folded over the filling as best I could and put it in the oil to fry, it totally started falling apart. I thought it might still taste good, but it was just ok. I dont know if I did something wrong or what. I followed the recipe, all I did different was I halved it so I didnt have to make so many. SO I dont know what happened, but I wont be making it again, sorry.
