Yum! I really really like this. I did sub one thing--thought I had frozen strawberries, went to the freezer, and all I could find was raspberries. So I used those instead, but it was awesome. The tartness of the raspberries really works in this. This sets up super fast--maybe due to the applesauce and frozen raspberries, and I didn't find too much liquid at all. I also thought the texture was more like thick jello with raspberries--it's hard to tell the applesauce is there. Perhaps it's bc I recently made orange gelatin cups from here, and you can definitely taste a different texture, and it wasn't like that at all. It was just jello-y but thick. We both loved this, so I'll have to keep it in the rotation, and maybe next time I'll use strawberries. Thanks for the recipe!

Very easy, very good. Made it for a picnic. Used raspberry jello because that is what I had on hand and also added cool whip on top.

My group and I made this gelatin for our Foods II class. This salad was amazing. You can feel the texture of the applesauce. And the strawberries and the lemon juice give it the salad a flavor.

This was a very refreshing and light dessert. I followed the recipe, but just realized I accidentally omitted the lemon juice. I used apple cinnamon applesauce and regular jello, not sugar free, and found this not overly sweet, just perfect. One thing I would recommend is to use sliced frozen strawberries.

This is an excellent and relatively healthy gelatin salad! I was out of strawberry jello, so I substituted with what I had around; a 3 oz. package of sugar-free raspberry and another of mixed berry. Oh, I used unsweetened applesauce as well. I also cut the strawberries into smaller chunks...they were way to big all by themselves. Other than that, I made it as written. I put the jello into a glass bowl instead of the pan...it looked prettier that way, and set up very well. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! I'll be making it again...my family liked it a lot, it is healthy, tasty, and super easy to make!

I love this treat! It has been a go-to recipe in our family for years when having a picnic/potluck type meal. The best part about it is how low-calorie it can be made!

Made for a church function and it disappeared! Very tasty. I topped it with whipped cream. Interesting consistency, but pretty addicting. I'm making it for another party since it was a hit.
