Berries with Sour Cream Sauce
SUBMITTED BY:
Linda Franceschi
"Delightfully dressed-up sour cream makes a delicious topping for fresh fruit in this dish shared by Linda Franceschi. 'My great-grandmother came up with the recipe, but I lightened it,' she writes from her home in Eldred, New York."

This was a great fresh dessert. I did change the recipe a bit...added nutmeg, amaretto liquor, vanilla extract and more honey. It sweeted and added depth to the sour cream-y taste and was YUMMY!!

DELICIOUS! so good i ate the whole thing myself! :D the only reason i docked a star is because i added vanilla, as per previous reviewers, and i think it was definitely needed :)

I'm sorry but this recipe was not to our liking. It was not sweet enough. Fortunately it was served on the side.

Very good. I don't really even like sour cream, but with the honey added, it made it sweet and more like yogurt. I added a drop of vanilla too. I'd fix this again. Thanks. It was really pretty too with all the colors and would be great for a July 4 party with the red, white, and blue colors.
