This took longer to bake than I expected. Eventually, I increased the oven temp to 425 and took off the aluminum foil to allow for browning. I added a generous clove of garlic, too. This is a tasty side dish that is quick and easy to prepare.

These were very good...I followed the recipe with just a couple of changes. I mixed everything together in a large bowl, stirred everything together, then put in the baking dish. I also added extra fresh rosemary. When they were done, they were pale and very soft. I took the foil off and browned them under the broiler to crisp them up a little. They turned out very well, and they were so simple to make. I served them with the Baked Salmon Filets Dijon (from this site...delish!) and steamed spinach.

I have made this recipe for many years. Fresh rosemary is this best. Coat the potatoes with enough olive oil plus a little bit of fresh garlic and cook until brown on one side. Turn and cook again until brown and tender. My girls who are now adults still call them "Mom's oven potatoes"

This is the best recipe I have found so far for baby reds. I did sprinkle the potatoes with garlic powder as well as the S&P. Next time I may mix in some minced garlic with the oil and butter.

Good recipe, but entirely too much oil used in it! Even my husband, who loves everything greasy complained the potatoes were swimming in oil. Cut the oil and butter by at least half and it is a really good recipe.

I used dried rosemary (I didn't think this was bland, but I was liberal with the s+p). I wouldn't call this an 'elegant' dish, but it did taste very good. Next time I may take the foil off toward the end and let the potatoes brown up a little bit.

These turned out very delicious! My fiance has been doing most of the cooking and he made them perfectly! If we have fresh rosemary, I'm sure they will be even better than when using dried rosemary.

Easy, tasty side dish. I used the Pampered Chef Rosemary Herb seasoning (1 T.). I cooked it a little longer--more like 45 min. for crispier potatoes. I baked these along with a pork tenderloin. Add a salad and rolls--great dinner!

I must be the minority on this one....I do think that the taste of rosemary was way to pungent and other than that....bland. I won't be using this one again...sorry. Thanks for the post anyway.

Great recipe! I didn't vary the ingredients (with exception to olive oil instead of vegetable oil), the time said 30 minutes or more, so I kept them in for about 45 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes. Just a note, I HAVE done a recipe very similar to this one that had you boil, then pan fry the potatoes. There is a difference in the texture of final product, but both are equally good. This one is a keeper:).

Very good! Definitely could have used less butter/oil as others have suggested. I used 1/2 tablespoon of dried rosemary and the hubby said to use even less next time, but I thought it was delicious as was. Cooked at 375 for approximately 45 minutes (they were still a tad hard at 30 minutes).

These are great!! My friend doesn't like rosemary so we used garlic powder instead and they still turned out wonderful. I'll definitely do rosemary next time though!

These are so yummy and a great alternative to your standard baked potato or mashed potatoes. If you don't like rosemary, then just subsitute in another spice.

This is a wonderful recipe. I made the recipe as follows, except I sealed all ingredients in a foil and grilled on bbq. Turned out great and I did use less oil and butter and you would not have noticed at all.
