Overall it's good, but it's very salty. I recommend using the low sodium soy sauce and marinating it for only a short time.

Sorry to just echo other reviews, but this is really, really salty (and I have a pretty high tolerance for salt!). The taste was so-so; we won't be making this again.

Way too salty!! I used low sodium soy sauce and added no additional salt and it was still way to salty. The chicken was tender, but the saltiness of it overshadowed any good qualities

A very easy and tasty marinade. I will use this many times. A great teriyaki marinade. Try it, you'll see what I mean.

I have always liked using soy sauce as a marinade and the beer just gave it a very interesting flavor...I really liked the taste. Did'nt have fresh garlic, so I used garlic powder instead. Will definately be making this again!

This ended up a little too salty for me. I will try it with low-sodium soy next time.

This recipe would be a lot better with low-salt soy sauce and maybe 1 1/2 cups beer, 1/2 soy sauce.

Very flavorful and simple. The whole family was pleased. We ran out of fresh garlic but garlic powder worked fine in it's place.

Extremely easy. I used 3 to 4 garlic cloves instead. Definitely marinade AT LEAST 8 hours (I tried 1 hour the first time and it didn't absorb enough flavor). Very tasty!!

It was kinda salty. Next time I think I will either cut down on the soy sauce or use tamari in place of the soy sauce. However, the beer and garlic gave the chicken a nice flavor. I grilled it indoors on the George Forman Grill and it was good.
