I was quite skeptical about trying a margarita made with beer. Having lived here in the Southwest for the past 12 years, Tucson specifically, I have had my share of margaritas – none to my knowledge made with beer. However, I thought I would give it a try given the one-posted good review so far. This skeptic has become a believer.
The beer adds just the right touch of mild carbonation and rounds out the flavor of the margarita. To be precise, here are the ingredients I used; Sauza clear tequila, Minute Maid limade mix and Samual Adams Ale (happened to be on hand at the time). I mixed all the ingredients as suggested and poured into a glass filled with ice. Quick, easy, tastes good and packs a powerful punch. Thanks Bueno!
