These are awesome - I like to use diet 7-up instead of the water and usually use Corona as the beer. Make sure you have enough for 2 batches!! These are better than you'll expect them to be!

I took the advice of other reviewers and used sprite instead of water, cornona and white tequilla. Very smooth and full of flavor.

Who da thunk to make margaritas from beer? I HAD to give this recipe a try and the result was a refreshing and really good margarita. CAUTION: these sneak up on you just like the "real deal"!

Very good and easy margarita! Beats having to make a simple syrup! The taste was different, but I expected that since it has beer in it, however, it was a nice change from the typical margarita. Well worth trying. We drank them on New Years Eve. I must say they taste better and better the more you drink them! :) I will definitely make these again, but I do prefer a more traditional margarita over these, just personal taste.

This is a very good drink to have on a hot day but it is a must share drink or it won't be a good day the next day :)

These were as good or better than any margarita you'll find in a restaurant. No changes to the recipe needed.

HOLY MARGARITA! These are simply THE BEST margaritas I have ever had... and I made 'em! I use Heineken as my beer and follow the recipe exactly. So easy, so yummy and so very potent. They go down very easily because they're very, very, very smooth, so be forewarned that you'll be Wasted Away in Margaritaville if you drink too many. These are certainly a crowd pleaser and people will be begging you for the recipe (if they're able to still talk!) A great, great recipe for parties because you can make them in large quantities AND very quickly. Salud!

Had these for New Year's along with some mexican dishes. It was like Cinqo de Mayo in December! Fantastic! Love the fizz from the beer. Only alteration was I increased the beer to 1.5 bottled and probably could have done 2.

My husband made me use his Sauza silver teq instead of the good stuff because his expectations were low... He was pleasantly surprised!!! I used 3 oz less teq and added 3 oz of cointreau.

Wonderful recipe. I made this for a party this summer, and they were a HUGE hit, and I have been requested to make them many times since then. I like margaritas with triple sec, so I use 3/4 tequila and 1/4 triple sec, sprite and follow the recipe as instructed. These are good the next day too.

Loved it! It makes more than 6 servings so get a large pitcher. Make sure you buy an extra can of limeade because you will be asked to make a second batch for sure!
