very good margarita. I followed recipe but used a cheap tequila and wasn't impressed, it was ok. The second time I used El Jimador tequila and club soda instead of water and it was so much better, could not taste the beer at all. Used Budlight and Minute Maid limeade. Good stuff and a keeper. Thanks.

Great stuff! This was very easy to make and very tasty. I stuck with the recipe and used water, 7-up sounded good but I didn't want them too sweet. I used Corona for the beer. I'm sure this will become a regular for me over the summer!

Served these over the weekend for a party -- went over great! I used 6 oz water, 6 oz diet sprite, and then used about 10 oz tequila, and topped it off with 2 oz triple sec. Definitely use Bud Light Lime for the beer as you get that extra lime flavor and you cannot taste the beer at all! great!!!!

I made these Saturday night and got a look of suspicion when people saw me adding the beer. I was very skeptical myself. However, when everyone tasted this drink they declared it the BEST margaritas ever. It was fast & easy!

We had a Tequila tasting/Margarita party last night and we were really skeptical about this recipe. After the first taste we were blown away! Bravo! This is a keeper! I must say, Allrecipe's 5 star rating (with at least 50 ratings) has NEVER let me down!

For the beer I used Bud Light Lime and it tasted awsome! My husband thought that it was too sour so next time I won't squeeze the juice from the lime into the pitcher like another reviewer suggested.

I made this for my Cinco de Mayo party and it was a big hit. I made four batches exactly as written and all were consumed. I made two of the batches in advance and put them in a pitcher (except for the ice and lime.) It made it easy to just pop it in the blender, add ice and garnish with lime at the time of the party. People were surprised to hear that it had beer in it. Instead of a lime wedge, I floated a slice of lime on top of each glass.

These are pretty good. I didn't give them 5 stars though because there is something just a little off about them. Maybe a little less water or more beer. Probably won't make them again though.

These are so good! I followed the recipes exactly except I added two splashes of triple sec. I used a Landshark beer. It is hard to believe that there is beer in this margarita!

I'm not usually a big margarita fan, but these were absolutely amazing. I omited the water and used ice instead for a frozen margarita. My boyfriend and I drank the entire recipe: I was a very happy Cinco de Mayo!

My preference is fresh squeezed lime juice but this is easy for entertaining and not too sweet. I like to taste the booze in my drink so this ratio was perfect!
