Made for the first time last night for company. The verdict = Awesome! Added one 12oz. Sprite in place of the water and used Corona for the beer. Will make again & again. Thanks!

I just decided to make a nice summer drink and while a Margarita is what came to mind I didn't have any Tequila in but I did have Mango Vodka....Followed the recipe but change Tequila to Mango Vodka and then instead of using 12oz water I used 8oz mango juice (Naked brand- tastes great!) and only 4oz water. Also I decided I wanted to make them blended and as per other reviews I mixed everything BUT the beer and then blended with ice and added the beer once I'd put the ice mix in the glasses. Great! Will definitely make again!

This is my favorite margarita recipe! I usually use Corona or Corona Light, and add fresh lime juice to mine. And to cut the sweetness, I add orange juice instead of water. These have become VERY popular in my neighborhood! I can't wait to use the Bud Light Lime as someone suggested. Yum!

This was wonderful! My husband who is always a skeptic when I try to change a tried and true recipe really liked it! I followed the recipe to the letter. I used Miller Lite beer and there was no way you would ever know there was beer in it! I will use this recipe a lot.

This is an amazing recipe. I followed it exactly, using Corona Light as the beer. It was absolutely perfect, and I would not recommend making any revisions to the recipe. I think substituting lemon/lime soda for the water would make it too sweet. I used a generous amount of fresh lime for each glass. I have been using a frozen margarita mix for many years, but I won't need to anymore. This is definitely going to be the only way I make margaritas from now on!

I do not like beer at all and was a little scared to try this recipe...but I LOVE it! All my friends and family love it too! When we have cookouts, everybody asks me if I've made the famous beer margaritas! I personally like a ton of fresh lime in mine!

Got this recipe from my husbands client and thought "beer" ugh! But he just went on and on about it, so i tried it. We had friends over and they LOVED them. This is so easy. I made 3 pitchers that night for just the six of us...we were told it was a must to use Corona Extra. I have given this recipe out more times in the last 2 weeks then any recipe of any kind in a long time. It is sooo good!

I got rave reviews for making this for 100 people last night at an event I do. I purchased a $19.00 5 gallon insulated beverage container at Home Depot and used the all recipe calculater for 75 servings. It was so easy to replenish during the evening the evening. I hate, hate beer and was very nervous about trying this for such a big event. I asked tons of people what they thought the secret ingredient was...and nobody guessed. You can't taste the beer at all! I used Bud Light Lime and left lime wedges and an ice bucket next to the thermos. Super yummy margaritas and a ton of happy people! This was the perfect complement to the BBQ dinner we served.

Made this as directed with a Coors Lite, generic limeaid from the local supermarket, and some reposado tequila. It was waaaay too sweet. Even cut with extra water and almost another entire beer, it was still quite sweet. Maybe the local limeaid is extra sugary? As it is, I'll stick with traditional margarita recipes.

I couldn't believe how good these were, and easy enough to remember the recipe once you've had a few (pitchers). ;-) I used plain ol' Miller Lite and they were great - I'd bet the quality of the tequila has a lot more to do with the outcome than the quality of the beer so spend wisely! :)
