I made this for a birthday party this pass weekend and it was a big hit!I made it in advance, about 6 hours, then served it over ice. I quadruple the recipe, used 1 can of 7up and 3 waters. Turned out perfect! Not a drop left!

My husband and I both loved these! I tried the recipe twice - once as the recipe stated and once using 7-up in place of the water and I really couldn't tell much of a difference. Either way they were delicious! I'm recommending this recipe to all my friends.

Everyone that has ever tasted this recipe has loved it. It's my all time favorite margarita mix. It is very much requested. Occassionally I'll cut down on the tequila. It is very potent. Thanks for sharing!

Oh yeah - this went down DA BOMB with my guests. I doubled the recipe for eight people and should have tripled it - a double recipe was gone in about an hour. I followed the recipe exactly but added one can of diet sprite to a tripled recipe - I thought it was just a smidge too tart and the diet sprite took care of that. I floated sliced limes and lemons in the drink and it looked really pretty. Served over rocks. Everyone thought it was the best margarita they'd ever had and they couldn't believe the beer was in there! You can't taste it at all! Only down side was a friend with wheat allergy couldn't partake due to beer (but the rest of us enjoyed her share...).

Fabulous on a hot day....tart! Add more water or puree some strawberries to lesson the tartness. Will make these often because they're easy!

When I made this for about the fifth time, I realized I hadn't ever rated it! Since I like my drinks strong (and short), I don't add the water--just serve it on the rocks. Corona is my choice for the beer. It's nice to have a jar of this in the freezer, ready to go!

This recipe rocks. I used 7UP instead of water and Miller Lite beer. They are not strong. These were a hit and we will be making these over and over.. THANK YOU!!!

This recipe makes yummy and very strong margaritas! I used 6oz. water and 6oz. of Sprite Zero instead of 12oz. of water, and I used Corona Lite for the beer. I made this for a party and I had to water my own glasses down a bit, but several guests said they liked it the way it was.

This is a great Margarita mix! I followed the ingredients exactly. The only thing I did differently is mixed everything but the beer and ice the night before and added lime and orange slices to the mix. The next day I added the beer and ice. We all enjoyed the Beer Margaritas and enjoyed the fruit slices that had soaked up the yumminess! I will make this again and again!

very good margarita. I followed recipe but used a cheap tequila and wasn't impressed, it was ok. The second time I used El Jimador tequila and club soda instead of water and it was so much better, could not taste the beer at all. Used Budlight and Minute Maid limeade. Good stuff and a keeper. Thanks.

Great stuff! This was very easy to make and very tasty. I stuck with the recipe and used water, 7-up sounded good but I didn't want them too sweet. I used Corona for the beer. I'm sure this will become a regular for me over the summer!

Served these over the weekend for a party -- went over great! I used 6 oz water, 6 oz diet sprite, and then used about 10 oz tequila, and topped it off with 2 oz triple sec. Definitely use Bud Light Lime for the beer as you get that extra lime flavor and you cannot taste the beer at all! great!!!!
