These tomatoes come out so delicious! I always leave out the egg and substitute crumbled blue cheese for the cheddar. If you like blue cheese, try adding some crumbled blue cheese to the center of your tomato as you're filling it, and to the top for melty goodness while baking. You'll like it! A bread crumb & butter topping is also good in place of the cheese topping. Thanks for the recipe!

Well liked by the family. I may add fresh garlic next time. Yummy and healthy! I also used ground buffalo.
