Excellent, even if I hadn't added stuff. I just sprinkled little bit of zesty seasoning (which probably wasn't necessary) and a little canned corn on top. I ate it by itself (since I was the only one eating) but would be really good with mashed potatoes

This turned out better than I expected. I thought the crust would be soggy since the recipe didn't instruct to parbake before filling. Not the case. The crust turned out fine. It was moist and biscuit like with a nice browned outer crust. I added some ranch seasoning to the filling to jazz it up a bit. I mixed the dough in my K/A mixer and just patted in the greased pie pan with well floured hands, Didn't bother rolling out or kneading. Made it even easier. Nice base recipe to spice up to your liking. I served this with Cauliflower Radish Salad, also form this site.

I enjoyed this recipe! I didn't have a mix, so I made biscuit dough from scratch to use as the crust. To make it healthier, I used 1/2 the beef and added veggies like green peppers and mushrooms, and also cut down on the cheese. The end result was delicious!

This is a fast, easy recipe to have on hand. I did make some changes according to personal preference: I used ground turkey, half of an onion (we do not care for a strong onion flavor), 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 tbsp taco seasoning, 1/3 cup medium salsa, and I used a frozen pie crust rather than the biscuit mix and mozarella cheese rather than cheddar. The taco seasoning and salsa gives the dish more flavor but keeping the amounts small keeps it from going Tex Mex on you. I guess I made a whole new dish, but this recipe was where it started!

This was pretty good but not terribly exciting. Wasn't too hard to put together but not a last minute dinner. Might try again with adding a few more and different ingredients.

I really liked the beef mixture. I did use taco seasoning and thought it was great. The crust was a little bland and dry though, I think I would use a refrigerated crust if I made it again.

Made it for my husband and his buddy, and definitely should have doubled it because there was only a tiny piece left for me! (This is more of their review, since I've barely tasted it.) They noted that tomatoes with green chilies were the way to go - plain tomatoes would have only gotten 4 stars.
