This was pretty good but not terribly exciting. Wasn't too hard to put together but not a last minute dinner. Might try again with adding a few more and different ingredients.

I really liked the beef mixture. I did use taco seasoning and thought it was great. The crust was a little bland and dry though, I think I would use a refrigerated crust if I made it again.

Made it for my husband and his buddy, and definitely should have doubled it because there was only a tiny piece left for me! (This is more of their review, since I've barely tasted it.) They noted that tomatoes with green chilies were the way to go - plain tomatoes would have only gotten 4 stars.

Was looking for a recipie to use my abundance of Jersey tomatoes from the garden. Thanks! We spiced it up a bit because we like it hot - korean catsup for the regular.

My family loved this quick and easy to make pie. I used the suggestions: use only the milk amount suggested by the biscuit recipe, 2 tbsp. salsa, taco mix in the beef & Tex-Mex cheese on top. I also added green pepper and mushrooms. My son does not like usually like tomatoes, but he liked them here. My kids liked the pie crust. I will use biscuits as a crust for chicken pie, etc. in the future. Thanks for the recipe.

Used 1/2 cup milk and a can of fire-roasted tomatoes(instead of fresh)as the changes. Added a can of drained black beans and sauteed garlic with the onions. Pretty good - got to watch the crust at that temp so it doesn't burn. Hubby loved this with Old El Paso taco sauce over the top. Next time, will use thinner crust.

Love the simple basics. I used an already made pie crust from the grocers and unrolled it. Added a small hungarian hot pepper and kidney beans to the beef. Sauteeing the onions and (garlic) first helps. Will be topping with mozzarella & serving with homemade tzatziki sauce It compliments the hot peppers.

This was a easy and a good tasting recipe. I added more ketchup than called for and added a drained can of corn. Next time I think I will try adding spag. sauce instead of ketchup and a drained can of mixed vegetables. My son enjoyed this and suggested that I try adding some taco seasoning to it the next time.

Great recipe!! I probably used more cheese than called for, but I love cheese. Think I'll try one of the seasoned diced tomato choices next time. I used fresh tomato this time.

This was pretty good and basic. It's really hard to go wrong with these ingredients. Just to perk this up, I added a layer of mashed potatoes to the bottom and next time I think we're going to incorporate veggies as well. This is a definite kid pleaser too!

Delicious! Great dish to make ahead of time and then just pop in oven when it is time. I made a few changes. Used Bisquick Mix and reduced the milk to 1/2 cup to correspond with their recipes. I added 3 cloves of chopped garlic and 1 tsp. black pepper. Instead of ketchup, I added 1/2 c. hot salsa which gave it a little kick. I sprinkled it with 1 c. Tex Mex grated cheese blend.I served it with a cucumber salad on the side.
