Pretty good! It was fairly thick, but still tasty!

This was a great recipe! Although I did make several changes. The people I cook for are not very fond of chunky, meaty thick stew. So because I doubled the recipe, it called for 5 1/2 lbs of beef so instead, I used 3 lbs of fround beef and doubled the liquid using vegetable broth. I also added a few stalks of celery and some carrots. The end result was a thinner ( but not very thin) soup/stew. Not as thick and chunky as a stew but still wonderful! Thanks for thr great recipe!

This was a great base recipe. I changed it a bit to fit our family's taste. I omitted one onion and added two carrots, thinly sliced and three stalks of celery including leaves, also thinly sliced to the sauteing onions. I also added a teaspoon of garlic powder along with the sage and thyme. I also added a can of beef broth and an additional can of kidney beans. This turned out great and my husband and younger brother agreed that it was very filling and delicious.

My family really enjoyed this recipe. I also added some chopped kale for veggie content.
