This was delicious! I sauteed half a sweet onion and browned the meat before adding to the sauce mixture. I also used a jar of sliced mushrooms, 1 clove of garlic and fresh ground pepper. For the noodles, I used whole wheat no yolk egg noodles and no one knew the difference. Tastes even better the next day as most things do!

This kind of dish is usually not my thing but the flavor of the meat and sauce was simply delectable. It was hard to stop eating.

This is similar to a recipe I received from my mother-in-law....in hers you place biscuits on top towards the end of the baking....yummy!

I really loved this recipe. I'm sure it was fantastic as it stood but I wanted to put a spin on it. 1 1/2 cans of the mush. soup. 1/4 cup white wine. 2-3 cans of water. 1 TBS oyster sauce. Pinch of garlic powder. Can of Shitake mushrooms. 1 large red bell pepper sliced. Served over rice (my boys used noodles). AWESOME FLAVOR!

This recipe was very good but I did make it in the crock pot and cooked it all day and the meat was super tender and AWESOME flavor. I also added 2 cans of soup and did 1 cup water and 1 cup milk. Great recipe!

I followed the advice of a few others and used milk instead of water. I also added about 1/4 c of red cooking wine, which really makes a difference. Very good sauce. The meat was a little over done baking for an hour, but that might have been the cut of beef I was using.

This is good, but only after I made modifications to it (hence the 3 stars). I took advice from other reviewers and tweaked almost everything. Great idea and base recipe to follow though.

Made with a 3 lb roast, cubed and doubled the can soup (not onion soup mix) for the 'gravy'. Dinner was ready in less than an hour and oh, so tender! Our new favorite.

Although this recipe was very easy and my family loved it, I found it to be a bit bland. I will make it again and try a few tricks to increase the flavor.

I made this last night. Very good!I did add all the ingredients plus about 1 cup of red cooking wine. I think I did some minced garlic as well. I added some corn starch to thicken it up as well.
