This is a good recipe, but somewhat bland. I added about 1/2 tsp. of ground ginger to taste (you can use fresh), sweet and sour bar-b-que sauce (about 1 cup), lots of black pepper and chili powder (about 1/2 tsp. to taste). I also chopped two vidalia onions and added with the brocolli.

The recipe is easy and very tasty. My kids even loved it and asked for seconds. I added a little ground ginger with the ingredients and used the liquid from the steak instead of canned broth.

Husband enjoyed tremendously! Didn't realize it was low in fat! Added salad to entree and it was very nice. On regular monthly menu now!

Very good recipe! Not exactly what you would get at a chinese restaurant, but still quite delicious. Very easy to make, definitely worth trying.

I usually made a more complicated version of this, but this was easy and my kids ate it all! I did serve the broccoli on the side, as they like to "mix" their own foods.

This is okay. I made it for dinner with my parents last night. My mom complained it was too sweet, I thought it didn't have any flavor, and my dad dumped so much chili sauce in it he couldn't taste anything. My 18 month old ate a little bit, but my picky 8 year old neice said she liked it. I tried adding real garlic, ginger and red pepper flakes, but it just still lacked something. As my mom pointed out, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't great either. I will return to my usual recipe.

This was very good, though not very "teryaki-ish". I added 2 teaspoons grated ginger and 3 sliced green onions. Quick and easy to make!

I agree that this does not taste like teriyaki, but it is very good. It reminds me of steak kow that I have had at a chinese restaurant. Next time I might try using low sodium beef broth to cut down on the saltiness.

This did not taste like authentic Teriyaki. Too Americanized and bland.

I know i followed directions exactly but this did not taste anything like teriyaki sauce. it was just an altered soy sauce. it was good but far from teriyaki.

This was quick and easy. I thought it tasted very good. I used leftover filet we had grilled, sliced very thin, and it worked fine!

The only thing I would change is omitting the garlic powder. I seemed a little on the salty side.
