This recipe warms the cockles of your heart! I added a about 6 Tbsp. of butter for smooth texture and also 3/4- 1 cup of green peppers for a mildly "hot" flavor.(Not spicy.)-- For a more soup-like quality (if you are not a stew-eater)just add more water and cover and simmer for awhile longer. I seasoned my meat while searing it and then added more seasoning to the water. I added more salt and pepper for stronger flavor and skipped the rosemary. -- Instead of bouillon I used stock. I find chicken stock over beef makes a nice interesting flavor. -- Egg noodles are delicious when boiled in the broth! (I find the medium size noodles hold the beefy flavor more than the larger sizes.) -- If you are averse to celery (I used 2 stalks instead of 4), just know that after boiling they taste like peas. But even if you don't eat them, ADD THEM to the pot! If makes a big difference in flavor.
