This is an EXCELLENT dish! So versatile! I substituted sour cream in place of the mayo, and added a can of diced tomatoes and some chopped onions. It was perfect! My toddler even loved it. Thanks so much!

I made this last night for my 12 year old and we both loved it. I think I added a little extra salsa by accident and used the sour cream as recommended by others. This will be added to our menu rotation for sure! Thanks for sharing!

This was pretty good. My husband enjoyed it more than I did. I substituted sour cream for the mayo and was happy that I did. Next time I think I'll add more veggies. But, it was really simple and quick!

Big hit in my house. Nothing fancy, but super easy and even the kids ate it! I used sour cream instead of the mayo others suggested

My husband and children enjoyed this for dinner last night, well save one very picky eater. Next time I believe I will use sour cream in place of the mayo. I think that will make it even better. Its quick and easy to make. Just what I need with four kids on the go all the time.

This recipe was a good starting point for me. I changed quite a bit and it turned out okay. Not anything to make when I want to impress but it was pretty tastey. Some of the changes were out of convenience/health and some where preference. I used ground turkey instead of beef. I didn't use salsa at all. I used no fat sour cream instead of mayo (it just sounded too weird!). I used a packet of taco seasoning instead of chili powder. I used whole grain chips, which I would probably change if I made this again. And lastly I added 1 can of fat free refried beans. There was about 2 cups of the beef mixture left over and I used that to dip tortilla chips in later. My concoction turned out pretty well. Good luck!

This was really good but did make changes as some suggested...taco seasoning and sour cream. It also needed a little more liquid, we added more salsa and some lettuce and sour cream on top. It's good because you can make it at the last minute because we all have these things on hand. Will make again...

pretty good...i thought it was going to be more "solid" but it just fell apart so we ate it with chips rather than forks.

We really liked this! However, I couldn't bring myself to put mayo in a "nacho" casserole....so I used SC. YUMMY! I used lower fat cheese.....which I WON'T do next time because it doesn't properly melt! An 8x8 pan is the perfect size. Thanks!

Easy, easy, yummy, yummy! Added a can of pinto beans for a little more heft and used a combo of sour cream and ranch instead of Miracle Whip and taco seasoning instead of chili powder (per other reviews). I didn't think it was bland - the salsa gave it a nice mild flavor. I can see using some more heat but then my kids wouldn't eat it so this was just fine for us! Great recipe.

I htought this was really good. The family thoguht it was just ok. I thought it could've used a little more "something". I did add a teaspoon of cumin to help give more flavor. Next time maybe I'll add some noodles.

I have been making this for months now and it is delicious. My toddler LOVES it. I use taco seasoning instead of the chili powder and sour crean instead of miracle whip. I also use Colby and Jack cheese and use WAY more than the recipe calls for!!! This is one of those recipes you can change up to suit your taste. Thanks for sharing.

Good and easy. Tasted a lot like tamales. I substituted taco seasoning for the chili powder, shredded cheddar for the Colby, and 1/2 Miracle whip, 1/2 sour cream. Also added garlic and onion.
