This was a good and quick dish to make. As suggested by another reviewer, I substituted Miracle Whip for sour cream. I also added fresh chopped jalepeno, green onions and layered jar jalepeno with the cheese and chips. My boyfriend loved the casserole. Thank you!

Yum! The leftovers were gone before I could even think to eat them! I added an onion while I cooked the meat. This one's a keeper.

This was pronounced a "keeper" recipe by most of the family. Next time I would sub sour cream for the mayonnaise to make it less sweet, but that's the only change I would make.

This is so, so good! The whole family loved it, and we finished the pan in one meal. Next time I'll double the recipe. I also think this would be good if you used black beans to stretch the meat a little. Would also be cheaper to make that way!

Yummy! I made some last minute changes because while I was making it I found out I was having extra people for dinner! I doubled everything, but was out of ground beef. I thawed some pulled pork and added it. I also added 1 cup of black beans and topped it with olives. The casserole was almost gone in a matter of minutes!

My husband and I just tried this recipe. It is really good and super easy. I followed some of the suggestions and used 3/4 cup sour cream instead of mayonnaise, 1 packet of taco seasoning instead of chili powder, and a packet of shredded Mexican cheeses instead of colby cheese. It was really good and only took us about 30 minutes to make.

My husband LOVES this recipe! I half up the Mayo & Sour Cream mixture, and use Rotel in place of salsa. Very easy, and very tasty! Thanks!!!

I love this recipe and have been making it for a variety of people for the past 2 years. I do make a few changes to the recipe depending on what I have on hand. I normally use medium salsa instead of mild, and use just plain cheddar cheese instead of the colby or montery. I also found it really nice to use taco or fajita seasoning instead of the chili powder.

I had to change a few things with the recipe due to being allergic to corn. I used 1 lb ground beef, 1 t chili powder, 1/2 c sour cream, 1 1/2 c salsa for meat mixture. made as directed minus corn. spread out in 9 x 13 and cover with 1 lb of refried beans. Cover with layers of chips and 4 c shredded nacho taco cheese. Turned out fabulous. The hole family loved it and it made a large amount very inexpensively.

I enjoyed this casserole. I used sour cream instead of mayo, and frozen corn instead of canned. It was really good! The only thing I would do differently next time is use Medium salsa instead of Mild. I just want a little more kick. For a simple and fairly quick recipe, this is great!

This was a great recipe. I did follow the advice of other posters, subbing in taco seasoning and sour cream. I think the next time I make it I will skip the corn chips entirely. They work well for the initial serving, but not so well for left overs. Everyone loved it, mission accomplished.
