I enjoyed this casserole. I used sour cream instead of mayo, and frozen corn instead of canned. It was really good! The only thing I would do differently next time is use Medium salsa instead of Mild. I just want a little more kick. For a simple and fairly quick recipe, this is great!

This was a great recipe. I did follow the advice of other posters, subbing in taco seasoning and sour cream. I think the next time I make it I will skip the corn chips entirely. They work well for the initial serving, but not so well for left overs. Everyone loved it, mission accomplished.

Delish! used half sour cream and half miracle whip. Next time will add refried beans.

This is an okay receipe. I don't know if there is too much salsa or maybe the salad dressing?

Very good! A nice change from our usual weekly mexican dishes. I used sour 1/2 sour cream, 1/2 mayo, basically because I was out of mayo. I also used Doritos. Delicious. Thanks for sharing!

I followed the steps exactly and did not care for the taste. We are not big salsa fans so it did not taste good to us.

I like this recipe. The nachos give the dish great texture, and if you have kids helping you in the kitchen, they can help crush the chips. Also, the corn is a good addition to the meat mixture. It makes the meat layer more filling without as much meat. Also good for color too. All in all, this dish was fun to make, serve, and enjoy, and my husband liked it better than Ortega's enchilada casserole that I used to make about once a month. One other plus...I liked that this recipe called for salsa rather than enchilada sauce because sometimes my grocery store doesn't have enchilada sauce in stock, and it's never a bad thing to have leftover chips and salsa. Yum.

This was really good for a taco/ nacho casserole. I have made several with different variations and this one is a keeper. The only changes I made was to use sour cream instead of Miracle Whip and I mixed the beef mixture with the sour cream and put that in the bottom of the pan, then the chips, then put the cheese on top. I will be making this again and again.

This was really good, I thought it was gonna be so so, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you have fussy eaters in your house like me this is a staple dish and is really easy to make and serve a lot of people ... unlike tacos. I used sour cream like everyone else mentioned. Also I used taco seasoning, I put about 4th of a packet while browning the meat then a teaspoon when I mixed everything. I only put in 1 cup of salsa (medium heat, mild would have no heat) and upped the sour cream to a full cup. I think the key to this is using quality chips (I use hav a chips) and organic salsa.

Not bad. I used the sour cream like everyone else, and Taco seasoning. I also used tortillas cut in cubes in stead of chips. The idea of mushy chips just freaks me out. I made enough to make two, one for today and one to freeze. I served with chips on the side and it worked. So I will make it again.

Good recipe. Also good way to use up the chip crumbs left in the bottom of the bag!

I did not like this recipe at all! I usually try to give the recipe a shot and follow the same ingredients. I should have looked at some of the other suggestions! It would have been ok but there was way too much salsa. Definetly cut back on that!

Fabulous! I did modify as previous reviewers suggested using taco seasoning and sour cream. I also used Southwest Corn sold under the Kener label because it has red peppers and diced green chiles in it. The "topitos" or tortilla chips I used were lemon flavored (that's what was in the pantry) and I found the additional flavor to be compatible with the dish. Thanks for a fabulous recipe!
