I enjoyed this, but most of my kids didn't really like it. It definitely needed a little salt.

For this recipe, I used high-quality red wine and organic sirloin. Yet, I did not stray from the cook's methods or ingredients. Even so, this dish lacked flavor and excitement. I will not try to "improve" or "modify" this dish. It's too bad, as I really thought this meal would be tasty.

This was excellent! My whole family & the neighbors liked it. I ended up using onion & garlic powder because I didn't have fresh on hand but I don't think it made a big difference.

My husband and enjoyed this dish but it seemed to be missing something. We made it as the recipe stated, but it could have used some additional seasoning.

This was good, but something was definately missing, though my husband and I are still trying to figure out exactly what.

This was wonderful, however I found that I had to add lots more red wine and water to help keep a broth in the pan. Other than that, definintely a favorite recipe.

I sauted the beef in onion powder and minced garlic and added green onions to the beef/onion/butter saute. I used red wine and put all the ingredients in the crockpot on low for 4 hours. I also added sour cream at the end to serve. This was really filing a good. A great fall recipe. Thanks.

This was a nice easy meal. I used both broth and wine. Also used a little dry thyme and rosemary. Skipped the browning sauce as I've never used that, but did use a little worcheshire, and also more garlic.

about 3.5... A little bland, and because of the beef I had on hand I couldn't use the same preparation. I added a garlic clove and used half wine and half broth. Served over egg noodles. MIght make something similar again.
