This was soooo gooood! I have never heard of a chicken salad that called for heavy whipping cream. I put it on a croissant and it was heavenly!!

I LOVE this recipe. I have received so many compliments as well as requests for the recipe. My husband, who is a total meat and potatoes guy, requests this often in the summer. Adding the heaving whipping cream really makes the recipe. I added a few drops of tabasco as well as a tablespoon of Dijon mustard. I have also been know to add diced apples and/or green peppers, depending what I have on hand. I usually double the recipe and then enjoy leftovers for a few days (if my husband doesn't eat it all!) Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!

Great Recipe! The only changed I made was using 1/2 cup of mayo and 1/2 cup of miracle whip. It gives it less of a total mayo taste. The whole family loved it! Thanks!

I love the chicken paired with the grapes. I added dill and too much of it.

amazing chicken salad!!! Also great as a base for Curry Chicken Salad. Just add a T of curry, t of cumin, pineapple tidbits, white raisens, etc. I cooked a whole chicken in the crock pot with some broth. Shredded some of the meat for the salad and used the rest for chicken soup.

This is the BEST chicken salad ever!! I used seedless red grapes and walnuts. Immediately after I mixed all the ingredients together it was very salty (and I love salt). I put it in the fridge to chill overnight until the party the next afternoon and it no longer tasted salty!!! Everyone loved it. I DO NOT suggest decreasing the salt!!!

Absolutey amzing. I did make some changes though. I doubled the recipe and used walnuts instead of almonds. I did not double the amount of mayo. My boyfriend loved it. I'm making it again this weekend.

I toast the almonds and marinate the chicken, but other than that, this is the most perfect chicken salad on a croissant you could ever have!!!

So easy, and tasty!! I cut back the salt to 1/3 t. and cut back the mayo to your liking. I've tried it with almonds and walnuts, and while they are both good, I prefer the walnuts. great addition to my recipe box. THANKS!

Very good but too salty. Next time I will use only 1/4 tsp., or maybe skip the salt completely.

We had a few chicken breasts left over from dinner that had been baked in the oven. I decided to try this recipe and am so glad that I did! It was fantastic prepared just as stated in the recipe. We served it on fresh baked whole wheat bread with chips. It was a great summer meal.

I also used a ready-made Rotisserie Chicken. The only flavor they had was "jalepeno honey", and it was fine. I also had to substitute craisins for the grapes because the grapes were iffy at the store. I think the grapes would have been a little better. Still, it was the best chicken salad I have ever made. And I have tried a lot of recipes. Thanks so much! This one is a keeper.
