I love this recipe but make a few changes to it. Substitute the whipped cream with cucumber ranch dressing, also add grapes. Lots and lots of grapes. Believe me, it looks weird at first but every1 will love it.

This recipe is great. I made it once and thought it was fabulous so I suggested to have it for my brother's wedding reception. It went over so well I've had so many people ask me for the recipe and say that this is the best chicken salad recipe they've ever had!!! It was an absolute hit. Thanks for sharing a delicious recipe.

This chicken salad recipe is A-1, top o' the heap, chicken-licious! I took the advice of others and cut down on the mayo and cream. Also, the whipping cream is a must! I used some leftover grilled chicken and 1 5oz. can of chunked chicken. Otherwise, I prepared the recipe to the letter. The salad was quite quick and easy to prepare, also. Thanks, Becky!

Next time use half a cup of mayo. Throw in some Cajun Seasoning for some spice.

This was a hit when I made it for a luncheon at work. Used a bit less mayo and added cayenne as suggested. I know I'm just saying what about twenty of you are thinking here: please, please, PLEASE use the whipping cream. Whip it in a spotlessly clean, chilled bowl with a hand mixer, but don't sweeten it. Cool whip is great for desserts, but this isn't dessert. Terrific recipe!!!

this is so similar to my husband grandmothers, she just adds sour cream instead of mayo and adds marshmallows,

I served this at a Christmas lunch today. Everyone LOVED it! I used a precooked rotissere chicken from the deli and it made the chicken so moist. Made it much easier for me!

This is by far the BEST chicken salad recipe I have ever had! Don't change anything about it, it is perfect just the way the recipe reads.

After reading other reviews and knowing every pallet in the house, I used 1/3 of the mayo and 1/2 of the whipped cream. Of course with any salad recipe, we all add what will make our tongue dance! Thanks for the recipe and the cayenne trick!

Absolutely delicious....everyone loves it when I make it. It's great even omitting the heavy cream, I've made it both ways and it's great either way!

Yummy! As a personal preference, I don't use the celery. I also use light mayo to cut down the fat. You might want to start by only adding 1/2 c of mayo and adding additional to taste because the 1 c is quite a bit.

I made this for a baby shower using fresh roasted chicken from Costco. Served it in a mini crossiant with green leaf lettuce and it was a hit! Everyone was asking for the recipe. But I must admit that the mayo was a little too much. Maybe cut it down a bit.

This was a great recipe--I like light mayo, both in terms of amount and reduced cal/fat, so I followed suit of others and reduced the amount to my liking. I used green grapes and it was quite a crowd pleaser. I wondered if perhaps a dash of nutmeg might be tasty too--not with cayenne, which I opted not to use for this batch.

This makes a really good chicken salad. I did use 3/4 cup mayo instead of a full cup though. Overall, a keeper!

I liked it. I am thinking I wasn't too happy with my chicken, wish I would have just used precooked cubes- I had used some leftover chicken (white and dark) from another recipe. I needed maybe an apple. It wasnt as sweet as I was thinking it would be. I did use 1/2 yogurt and 1/2 mayo. Thanks!
