I didn't like this soup. It tasted too much like plain pureed tomatoes, no other flavor came through. You would have to be a die hard tomato fan to like this one. Wouldn't recommend it.

Very easy recipe. I did add spices to give it some flavor though- parsley, basil, oregano,bay leave, salt, & pepper. I'm not usually a fan of tomato soup, but this came out fantastic!

I added the basil as one commenter suggested. I also peeled a bunch of grape tomatoes and added them at the last minute to just warm them through to make this 'Bat Heart Soup'. Also, I served it with parmigiano-reggiano crisps baked up in the oven. Great combo!

This is a great recipe I tryed it out today, September 21, 2007, to see if I could use it for my Halloween Party next month. It was delicious and pretty easy to make. The bat wings are such a cute touch, thanks for the great recipe. I am for sure going to use this recipe for my Halloween Party!?!?!?!
