I also added some fresh spinach and let it wilt for a minute in the sauce. Great recipe!

Very light and tastey dish. I mixed the parm cheese throughout the pasta and added fresh cilantro also.

Very good! Added half of a roasted red pepper I had. Used a can of diced tomatoes instead of fresh. Omitted hot sauce and salt. Used 4 cloves garlic. Served with garlic bread and a simple salad.

my children and I loved this recipe, but did alter a little after reading reviews. used rigatoni, instead of angel hair pasta.added one can of diced tomatoes with garlic and the rest fresh tomatoes, which i blanched and peeled before adding. I added about a 1/4 cup of red wine and around a tsp of spicy pesto. also added oregano and doubled the garlic. added fresh basil the last five minutes to enhance flavor. will definately make again!

This was great. I doubled the garlic and added red pepper flakes instead of the hot pepper sauce. I also added some fresh basil after plating.

Excellent recipe! A few suggestions: 1. Use a short pasta - ziti, penne, rigatoni, etc. The sauce is thin and slides ride off the angel hair so you have several bites of either just pasta or just sauce. With the shorter pasta you get both in one bite. 2. Top with more fresh basil (or sage or oregano or all three) 3. Double the garlic

Awesome! My hubby and I loved this recipe, the kids (5 and 2 1/2) not as much because they wanted more sauce on their pasta. I didn't have the fresh tomatoes, so I used a 14.5 ounce can of diced tomatoes, but the rest was all fresh. I also used 2 cloves of garlic and I didn't have the hot pepper sauce, so I sprinkled on a bit of red pepper flakes. Thanks for a great new addition to my meal plans!

I can't believe someone would add liquid not called for in the recipe and then state that it was rated 4 stars because there was too much liquid. It is even scarier that people found the review helpful. Try it as written, absolutely delicious.

This was very good. I used both fresh tomatoes and canned tomatoes (diced with garlic and herbs). Also added a dash of dried oregano with the fresh oregano to enhance the aroma of the dish.

A great, easy meal! It's nothing spectacular, but it last 2 days and it wasn't super expensive, so I'm digging that! I would make again.

This was very good base recipe! I used the advise of the other cooks and made the following changes: Marinated chicken in Balsamic & Basil vinaigrette for 30 min, used seasoned canned of diced tomatoes (little liq. drained), added red wine, mushrooms, and Pesto to taste, omitted hot sauce. My fiance and I loved it since it was light and garlicy. Will make this again. Thank you!

Very blah. I could have gotten the same results with basil-tomato sauce from Classico but without the hassle. I won't be making this again.

This recipe is a great one. I made a few minor adjustments out of laziness. Used canned tomatoes, dried basil, etc... However, it still came out great. This would go great with garlic bread and red wine.

Tasted great but my sauce did not have as much liquid as desired, perhaps from allowing to simmmer for too long.

Like others, I did not have all fresh tomatoes on hand so I had to subsitute some canned diced tomatoes and I think that might be the way I'd make it again. I also added a little sugar to taste.
