I used canned tomatoes due to not having enough fresh - next time I will use fresh tomatoes for a bit more flavor punch. A keeper.

I cheated (like some other reviewers) and used 2 cans of garlic, basil and oregano tomatoes, drained. I added sauteed zucchini (thinly sliced) while the chicken finished cooking, and added a splash of EVOO at the end to add some depth to the flavor. This was amazingly simple, light, healthy, and fast. This one will definitely be added to the rotation in our house.

I wish I could give this recipe 4.5 stars because it was really good and very easy. I used a store bought rotisserie chicken which made it even easier. I followed the recipe pretty much exactly but next time I may add red bell pepper and artichoke hearts just for kicks.

Very good dish. Wish I could have taken the credit for this one. I added a little more Garlic (actually alot). Everyone at the firehouse digs garlic. A more is better attitude. I also seasoned then BBQ the chicken before adding it to the sauce to keep the chicken moist. A solid 4.5 stars.

Actually 4.5 stars would have been a perfect rating for this recipe. It was very good! Not the best thing I've tasted, but very good!

Like others, I did not have all fresh tomatoes on hand so I had to subsitute some canned diced tomatoes and I think that might be the way I'd make it again. I also added a little sugar to taste.

Wow, this dish was VERY tasty!! I will play around with it, only because I think it was a little heavy on the noodles (but I think I put in more than the recipe called for, so it was my bad). The taste was wonderful, but I might try using canned tomatoes instead of fresh, simply to make it a little less dry. Other than that, this dish really is quite delicious AS IS. I will make it again and again. P.S. I just remembered I used one tsp. of onion powder in place of the onion, just for a matter of preference. It was perfect!

Very good and easy. My husband won't eat chopped tomatoes in food, so I made this without them. I'm sure it is much better with, but even leaving them out, it was good. I've made this several times.

We have made this twice (by accident) and each time the sauce was very thin. Addtions: double the basil, garlic and hot sauce, and added sun-dried tomatoes for more flavor. I also added a teaspoon of garlic salt. We also added a vegetable which was very thinly sliced zucchini.

My 4 year old had seconds! Wow!! Okay, so I didn't have fresh tomatoes, but used 1 can of Italian style diced and one can of tomato sauce, since I read somewhere that the sauce was thin. I don't like onions, so that was out and doubled the garlic. My fresh basil went bad :( so I used dried, and while I cooked the cubed chicken I used basil and oregano. I didn't have hot sauce and used red pepper flakes, like everyone else! And added white wine. I let the sauce reduce to thicken it and it was awesome! I couldn't even mess it up by missing some ingredients! :)
